We were visiting Mtl with our 16 y/o, who loves sushi. A friend recommended Hidden Fish to us & we were very glad that we took his advice. The service was on point & the servers themselves were very friendly. We were there for the Sashimi & it did not disappoint. It was very fresh & flavourful, with a beautiful presentation. I highly recommend!

I appreciate the manager's thought for moving us to a more intimate/romantic table following our reservation, the sushi rolls were delicious (highly recommend the wagyu maki, wow!). Service was friendly, there is a nice romantic atmosphere, perfect place for a date night with a partner. As the waiter said I won't ever be able to eat sushi the same elsewhere haha. Loved our dinner & my partner enjoyed the sushi as well!
This place has it all! Highly recommend. One of the most delicious sushi restaurants at which I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The flavors are spot-on & there is great variety.
(Update Feb 2024) .... Awesome experience. We had an early reservation 5:45 & had Matthew as a waiter he was excellent. Explained everything & provided a lot of great suggestions. I'm gluten free so he helped me navigate everything that's gluten free. We have (3) different types of nigiri & (3) rolls. Favorite roll was the torched albacore. Great experience highly recommended Really great!! Would love to come back, Florence was our waitress & she was excellent. Sushi was unreal & they accommodated gluten free so well with no problem! Kudos to the team at hidden fish! 🐟

Amazing experience! The food was exquisite, service was attentive, courteous & well timed. The place has such a cool vibe & the seats are so comfortable & velvety. Highly recommend!
Amazing Nigiris & Sashimi, if you are searching for a restaurant that offer sushis similar to what you can find in Japan: This is the place! I highly recommend the premium sashimi & the chief selection nigiris, if you are 4 this will be perfect for all of you. I went there 3 times in 1 week because I wanted to share this amazing restaurant with other people.
Most probably the best sushi in MTL. Was trying to find best place & was never satisfied even with most recommended places in the city . Today it was insight. Can compare the quality with most reputable places in the world like Zuma, Nobu ect. Amazing quality, amazing taste, service , highly recommended!

beautiful restaurant & the staff were very welcoming & accommodating. highly recommend the nigiri. we also ordered the salmon roll & a tuna tataki roll. the salmon was a bit on the sweeter side personally but still good. the lychee martini is also good
It was my first time at Hidden Fish & heard so much good reviews about it that I decided to treat my boyfriend for his birthday. I cannot begin to tell you how amazing the food was, it ruined a lot of sushi places for us & the service was impeccable. Wilson, our waiter, knew what he was talking about. He recommended us a saké that pairs well with what we ordered as sushi & let me tell you, he did not disappoint at all. He was well versed & great at explaining what the dish was. I highly recommend having him as your waiter, if ever you decide to go there. The staff was great! The experience overall was amazing.
We had an amazing dining experience at Hidden Fish. Our waiter (Mattew) was informative & very personable. He guided us through the menu & made several excellent suggestions. We would highly recommend Hidden Fish to any sushi lover.

Best sushi experience we've had in Montreal (possibly ever). Our waiter, Wilson, was incredible - he was knowledgeable & went above & beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The vibe / decor were on point, the entire staff was welcoming, & the fish was fresh/delicious. Highly recommend!
