Honestly, disappointed. It seems as though at'peak' time/the heart of winter this must be the place to go. We booked our sugar shack experience back in March for today, which explicitly stated the taffy/maple experience is available through April. We flew in yesterday & took an hour uber over from Montreal, only to show up & have them tell us the taffy/maple experience stopped 2 weeks ago but we could have the meal still if we wanted. It's hard to decide for sure who's'fault' this is, but communication from the business would have been appreciated as we ended up wasting over 2 hours & around $200 ubering to/from Montreal for this experience. We had to call & confirm that the experience was even'open' prior to leaving as no communication or confirmation was received from the business.
Cette sucrerie restera un des jolies moments de notre voyage, très jolie décors, l'ambiance conviviale & musicale est au rendez vous. Les tires dans la neige ont étaient apprécié des enfants. L'affluence de la clientèle est très bien géré & les équipes sont organisés. Le repas est très copieux & super booooon, on s'est régalé. Le décor est vraiment beau 🤩

Super endroit 👍 remplie d'une histoire familiale bien racontée par une personne avec l'accent chantant de cette belle région du Québec... Nous avons passé une belle soirée en leur compagnie avec une ambiance typique & un repas fort gourmand... Belle soirée remplie d'échanges & d'émotions... A faire sans hésitation avec un passage obligé à la boutique avec des produits locaux....
L'ambiance & la musique était bon pis le service était correct. Mais ouais, comme les autres on dit le bouffe état pas tant bon, certains affaire était mieux que d'autres. Moi je mange n'importe quoi mais je connaissais mon bouffe sucrerie & icitte c'est jar 2.75/5 en moyenne. Je recommande quand même, vaut la peine de venir & essayer car c'est quand même un beau location.
We visited as part of a large group, & the food was quite good. However, the dining area was extremely overcrowded. Tables were packed so tightly that our backs were touching those seated behind us, making it uncomfortable. The tight space also made it impossible for servers to move around & serve properly. You have to pass the food down. Good luck if you're at the end of the table. Seating was on a bench, which meant disturbing the entire row just to get up & use the restroom. Honestly, it felt like a fire hazard-I'm surprised it hasn't drawn attention from local authorities.

A la découverte de la production du sirop d'érable. Ambiance sympathique. Le repas est copieux accompagné de musique'traditionnelle' . Le régime ne sera pas au rendez-vous. Les tarifs sont élevés à mon goût.PRESAQUE 60 DCA . Réservation obligatoire à l'avance.
Propose des tarifs beaucoup trop cher !
Le repas est à volonté mais le repas n'étant pas très bon, cela ne donne clairement pas envie de se reservir.
L'ambiance & le cadre est sympathique mais cela ne peut pas justifier les tarifs.
I went to the sugar shack with my meetup group, & it was an unforgettable day! We rode a horse-drawn carriage through the woods to a cozy dining hall. There, we saw how maple syrup is traditionally extracted, which was super interesting. The food was absolutely delicious-fresh soup, strong coffee, hearty mains, & mouthwatering desserts. After eating, we took a short scenic walk on a nearby trail, soaking in the peaceful vibe. I even picked up a few cute fridge magnets as souvenirs. Best of all, I made new friends & shared laughs along the way. It was a wholesome & amazing experience!
Long waits. Sat with others. I tried to order a hot chocolate for my kid & was told that I need to go order it at the bar. Took 15 min to get it, in the meantime coffee & soup was finally served at our table, both cold by the time I was back. Bread was good. The eggs & mashed potatoes are uneatable. Pancakes are very standard. Sugar pie was good. Service was mediocre. Good atmosphere. Taffy served on chipped ice had mixed results. Way overpriced for the quality of the food. Not worth it.
Was there few years back on a weekend was absolutely the best entertainment horse rides & atmosphere.
Today we went on Thursday not the same experience at all but price was same as weekend.food was great.
But Poor employees had to cover 4 different jobs.i would never return on a week day with a group at same price as weekend for lest entertainment & services.

Endroit chaleureux & agréable dans une ambiance sucrée & musicale. Erabliere avec maisons en bois rond. Très joli. Nourriture copieuse & traditionnelle du temps des sucres.
The nicest sugar shake I've been to in Quebec. The staff were very friendly & accommodating. It's a bit pricey but totally worth it in my opinion. The food had so much flavour compared to other sugar shakes I've been to. Overall great at atmosphere & experience.

I just went for sugar shack, & it was an amazing experience. It is one of the best sugar shacks in the Montreal surrounding area. The food was excellent, the atmosphere amazing & the music was fun! I recommend for anyone looking for a great sugar shack experience 😊
Nous avons mangé un menu en groupe, c'était excellent ! Tout est à volonté avec un sirop d'érable délicieux ! Vraiment je recommande !! La musique en live & la tige de sucre dehors ! J'adore !
Honestly best cabane au sucre ever been too. its little more expensive however the quantity & quality is amazing. Everything they make is from scratch. at the end i was super full.

We had an amazing experience! The food is great! We felt like back in the day that cabane a sucre was for family & friends. They have excellent service with live band.
