Ca reste une cabane à sucre. Mais côté cabane, c'est la plus belle que j'ai visité en 10 ans au moins. Donc belle cabane à sucre. On s'en reparle quand mon épouse pète une bulle au cerveau dans 10 ans & qu'elle décide de retourner à la cabane à sucre.
There was no handicapped parking in the lot, & the parking staff there were slightly unfriendly.
Our reservation had specifically requested a 30-minute arrival, but when we arrived, we were informed that the dining area wasn't ready & to explore the area(to b fair, we couldn't explore cause it was hailing outside).
The traditional meal appeared to not be homemade. Our bacon was brunt, but the eggs & ham with maple syrup was delicious. The bread was beyond amazing! (I should've asked for the recipe).
If you wanted anything other than tea (selection was very limited), coffee, or water, you could purchase drinks from the bar. The bar did take debit.
Our server was incredibly helpful & kind!
The music was a nice touch, but it made it difficult to hear anything.
Overall, I think $162.22 for two people was a bit steep considering the quality of the food we had.

Honnêtement le service etait impeccable, la salle était belle & bien décoré, mais ca ne vaut absolument pas le prix de 61$+tx sans inclure les pourboires. Je vais a la cabane a sucre 1x par année & c'est la première fois que j'ai été déçu par la nourriture, j'ai manger de la meilleure cabane a sucre pour bcp moins cher ailleurs je ne recommande pas a cause du prix exorbitant qui n'en vaut pas la peine.
J'ai aimé l'expérience, la nourriture était correct. Il n'y a pas de petit ferme pour voir les animaux aussi il y a pas de petit promenade a cheval juste pour tamener au parking😅. Le magasin est cute j'ai aimé. Je trouve que le prix est cher pour ce qu'il vaut.
I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Sucrerie de la Montagne, especially considering its reputation.
As my 67-year-old father who had recently undergone shoulder surgery was in the process of getting onto the horse carriage, it was suddenly set into motion without proper warning or assistance. This created a dangerous situation where he was nearly knocked over, & in the process, he tore a surgical staple. This is not a minor issue it's a serious lapse in safety that could have resulted in a much more severe injury.
On top of that, the quality of the food did not meet expectations. The bread, which should be a basic staple, was undercooked in several areas, which was disappointing & frankly unacceptable for a place that prides itself on traditional cuisine.
Between the lack of safety precautions & inconsistent food quality, this experience fell far below what should be expected. I strongly urge management to take both guest safety & food standards much more seriously.
It was a great pleasure to have old style Canadian lunch in Sucrerie de la Montagne. The atmosphere was so great. I love to visit family business places & would recommend this cute place.
Ma première fois dans une cabane à sucre & ce fut une expérience merveilleuse. Quelle belle tradition dans la joie, la musique, la danse & bien sûr la nourriture délicieuse !
C'est cher bien évidemment mais ça vaut la peine.

It Was okay nothing special at all & I find the price to have gotten really expensive for what it is. The food was okay portions have gotten smaller & I feel they don't have the same variety they used to & are missing some staples of a Sugar Shack but the kids still got the typical sugar High & passed out in the car on the way home
Une des meilleures cabane à sucre que j'ai pu faire que ce soit au niveau de l'ambiance ou de la nourriture. On aurait pas dit non à plusde dessert mais le service salé était vraiment super ! On a eu une merveilleuse expérience. 😊 la musique est un gros plus !
Prix nettement exagéré à plus de 80$ par personne avec taxes & service. Nourriture de mauvaise qualité, de type industrielle. Sirop d'erable qui semble dilué à l'eau. Ne demandez surtout pas le menu végé. Tire sur la neige sur un tout petit espace avec les enfants qui postillonnent sur la neige :-( Outre le service offert par un jeune garçon attentionné, le repas est à 2/10 & ne vaudrait pas plus de 25$. Hyper décevant. Réputation surfaite.

It was a wonderful setting to enjoy a delicious meal! The fireplace, outdoor fire & traditional, functional tapping on full display made for an interactive, immersive experience. The maple candy in the snow cannot be missed, & make sure to stop in the general store before you leave.
Service décevant. Nous avions réservé pour 20 personnes, mais on a refusé de nous asseoir tant que tout le groupe n'était pas arrivé, malgré la présence de 10 jeunes enfants avec nous, ce qui était vraiment peu accommodant.
Le service était également très lent. Les portions étaient insuffisantes : seulement 10 saucisses pour 20 personnes, & lorsque nous en redemandions, les quantités restaient très limitées.
L'ambiance & la musique étaient super, mais malheureusement, le service à la clientèle laisse à désirer. Nous sommes repartis en ayant encore faim, car la nourriture était servie au compte-gouttes.
When we arrived, the place was completely packed. We couldn't even find parking, & once we finally did, we were met with a massive line. We ended up waiting over an hour outside in the cold.
The situation was handled very poorly. Management clearly wasn't prepared for the volume of guests, & there was little to no effort to properly accommodate the long wait times. The only gesture offered was a small cup of very watered-down hot chocolate, which felt insufficient given the circumstances. Whoever was the manager on that day should be fired ASAP!
To make matters worse, the food portions were very small, & of course they tried to fill us up with a lot of bread & soup beforehand (typical).
Overall, the experience didn't justify the high prices at all. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Nous avons visité cette cabane à sucre hier avec une réservation à 14h, que nous avions déjà payée en ligne pour quatre personnes.
À notre arrivée, environ 20 minutes à l'avance, nous avons été surpris de voir une file de plus de 100 personnes - incluant des gens ayant aussi une réservation pour 14h. Malgré notre réservation confirmée & payée, nous avons dû attendre à l'extérieur, dans le froid, pendant près d'une heure, jusqu'à 15h, avant de pouvoir entrer.
Cela rend complètement inutile le fait de réserver à l'avance, puisque les clients avec réservation étaient dans la même file que ceux qui arrivaient sans réservation & achetaient leurs billets sur place.
À un moment donné, ayant très froid, j'ai essayé de me mettre à l'abri brièvement, mais on m'a demandé de sortir, ce qui a rendu l'attente encore plus désagréable.
Une fois à l'intérieur, le service était malheureusement très décevant & désorganisé. Plusieurs éléments qui font normalement partie de l'expérience (comme le pain ou certains accompagnements) n'ont pas été servis spontanément - nous avons dû les demander nous-mêmes.
C'est particulièrement décevant car ce n'était pas notre première visite. Nous sommes déjà venus à deux reprises dans les années précédentes & nous avions toujours adoré l'expérience. Cette fois-ci, tout semblait débordé & mal géré.
Nous comprenons qu'il peut y avoir des imprévus (comme des groupes en retard), mais donner priorité à ces situations au détriment des clients ponctuels avec réservation payée est inacceptable.
Malheureusement, cette expérience a été très décevante & nous ne pensons pas y retourner.
Going to this sugar shack feels like navigating an overcrowded airport, except colder. From the moment you arrive, it's clear that management prioritizes volume over experience, & you end up paying the price for it, literally.
At $70 per reservation, which is wildly overpriced in my opinion, you'd expect at least a baseline level of organization. Instead, the venue is massively overbooked, the parking situation is a complete afterthought (be prepared to hike 2 km just to reach the entrance), & despite having a confirmed reservation, we waited over an hour outside in the cold before being seated. By the time we actually started eating, two hours had passed since our reservation time. & to top it off, we ended up at what must have been the draughtiest table in the whole place.
Once seated, the ordeal wasn't over either. Wait times between services were agonizingly long. I heard management was blaming earlier groups for the delays, but having lived through it, it felt much more like the staff simply couldn't keep up with the sheer number of people they'd let in.
The only thing that saved the experience was the service, friendly but clearly overworked & overwhelmed, & the food, which was genuinely good.
But good service & decent food can only go so far when the whole operation is this poorly managed. It feels more like a tourist trap than anything close to a traditional sugar shack. If you're going, dress warmly & clear your afternoon
Went yesterday with my daughters for the sugar shack event. Website clearly states to reserve a slot & be on time. Tickets were for 2pm slot. We waited over well over 1 hour outside before they would leave us in, then waited again indoors as they start assigning us seats. Staff were polite but would not explain the delay. Finally got our tables. The food was average, music was good but volume was over the top & my kids covered their ears for the first 20 minutes until the band took a break. Server was polite & helpful so i can fault her but she admitted that office had triple booked the slot time & many other customers were not happy. Location is pretty but the adult ticket prices were way above average price & did not meet my expectation. Felt like a very expensive cafeteria experience would not recommend.
Drôle d'expérience. Réservation pour un groupe de 12 à 13:30. Arrivé la bas grande file d'environs 100 personnes. On s'informe au comptoir de billetterie que des réservations arrivé en retard ont prolongé les temps d'attente. Comme d'autres réservations mentionnent, un appel ou de l'information à notre arrivé aurait été apprécié. On as attendu une heure dehors, un verre de chocolat chaud as aidé un peu pour adoucir la faim & le froid. Rendu à l'intérieur, l'équipe de service semblait tous débordé. Assis à une table enfin, on attend un quart d'heure pour du pain, un autre quart d'heure pour de la soupe & finalement une demi heure de plus pour les plats. Décompte final: arrivée des plats à 15:30. Nourriture classique & réconfortante de cabane à sucre. Serveuse très fine malgré la surcharge de travail. Fonctionnement pour la gestions des réservations tardive à revoir.
