Way better than any bagel I have had before. Waited in line for 1 hour but it was definitely worth it! Would recommend for anyone visiting Montreal.View more
The traditional sandwich is tasteless. Of all the places I've had a bagel lox this is by far the worst. I came here expecting a wow & aside from maybe picking up some fresh bagels I'd never eat their version of a sandwich again.View more
Amazing experience, great food & great service. Went on a Sunday & had to wait 30 minutes to get in but it was worth it. The bagels are amazing & having them on a sandwich was very good. There was a much shorter line if you wanted just a plain bagel. Once we got into the store & ordered it didn't take long to get our food. It was really cool to see them making all the bagels in the oven & cutting up the dough.View more
Bagels: 5/5 Staff: 1/5 (very rude staff, we ordered an Uber pickup & they were super snotty about it, commenting that it's 45% more. We had our own reasons for not wanting to wait over an hour for some bagels -extremely delicious but I prefer saving. Time where ever I can ) Wait time: -1/5View more
View more
Good sesame bagel | Not as sweet as expected thoughView more
Love the bagels, best in the world IMO. I just can't wrap my head around this being a cash-only business in 2024, especially with the amount of foreign tourists coming through here & the extensive list of merchandise they sell. Is there any reason (beyond tax fraud) that makes sense?View more
Had a plain onion bagel & i don't see what all the excitement is about. The onions were burnt & the bagel was skinny. I'm going to try Fairmount to see if there is a difference.View more
Excellent bagels ! View more
Tasty tuna spread bagel, but $9 is a tad pricey.View more
View more
Maybe it was the water in Montreal, the brick oven or all of the above, but I actually prefer these bagels over New York-style. These are smaller, not as "bready", a nice crunchy outside but still chewy inside. During our October visit, this location was on a not to busy tree-lined street.View more
Nice Bagel Shop!! One of the More Famous Spots in Montreal to go for a Bagel DUA LIPA & her little Brother has been Here! The Bagel I got was Fair Sized & Tasty!! Fills you Right Up! Got a Rosemary& Salt Bagel BLT with Smoked Meat! Very Tasty!! Friendly Staff! Service for Me was Fast! Didn't have to wait for my Bagel! But don't Forget this is a Popular place! & there are Frequently Line Ups!View more
If you're looking for a great Montreal bagel experience, this is the place to go. It is a little touristy, but the bagels were chewy & hot & served with plenty of cream cheese. This place only takes cash (American or Canadian) or Canadian debit cards though, so plan ahead if you're visiting from out of town.View more
As fans of Somebody Feed Phil , bagels from St-Viateur Bagel are definitely a must-try. It's really good & the texture was totally from bagels in NYC. Our only complaint would be the payment is Cash Only.View more
Decent cafe with a good bagel--it was not very chewy for a bagel imo. Not the greatest as I've had better, my friend said the coffee was not good either. The employees were very sweet but it doesnt quite makeup for the quality. & they don't accept Credit card. Only accepts CASH (USD or CAD) or Canadian debit card. Many tourists had to be turned away from service.View more
View more
Sandwiches were fine but not necessarily to die for. I would try just the bagels next time.View more
Super yummy bagels, authentic taste. A bit on the pricier side but definitely going every once in a while.View more
Montreal bagels. I was a tourist in the city, & have made it here on two separate trips. Will return when back in town.View more
Being from Texas, of course, this was at the top of my Montreal list. The "Traditional" did not disappoint. Fresh bagel with salmon & cream cheese. I seriously could have this almost every day.View more
