Das hat nichts mit einem Bagel zu tun!
Das schmeckt weder nach einem Bagel noch ist das Ambiente schön.
We had 2 days in Montréal & ate here for breakfast both days! Got the Roast Beef the first time & the Salmon the second time… totally blown away by the staff & the food! Check out the giant oven & the plethora of bagels, it's impressive!
I do love St. Viator's Bagel, & glad they also have this outlet serving fresh bagel sandwiches & coffee.
Have been here numerous times, & every visit has been a pleasant experience. The staff is always helpful, the service is prompt, & the food is consistently good, what more can you ask for!
They also have washrooms that are very well maintained.
I had a very unpleasant experience outside this business while passing by it & I will never step a foot inside as personel is very arrogant & disrespectful towards people.
The business had many customers waiting outside, but no one was managing the line or making sure the public sidewalk remained accessible. The sidewalk is already narrow because of their patio & a tree, & the crowd made it almost impossible to pass. This is a serious issue for people with strollers, wheelchairs, mobility aids, or disabilities.
When I pointed this out to a waiter, he responded in a rude, arrogant, & dismissive way. Instead of showing concern or trying to help, he acted as if it was not their responsibility. A simple solution would be to organize the line with tape, like many businesses do. They choose not to.
Businesses should respect the neighborhood where they operate. Public sidewalks are for everyone, not only for their customers. I will also report this to the city because this creates an accessibility & safety problem for pedestrians.
This was disappointing & unacceptable. Management should take responsibility & make sure their customers do not block the sidewalk.
Excellente ambiance du bon cafe des bagel extra la confiture est trop sucree
Love the sandwich! & the sidewalk patio is really a great spot to chill & enjoy some sunshine.
Much different than your typical bagel. Good crisp on the outside, soft & tender on the inside. Not as much dough or chew as a NY bagel. I like how they're made fresh but it is not something I will necessarily come back for.
The bagel is gooood. The staffs are really nice as well. An update is that the shop starts to take foreign debit & credit cards (no Amex tho) now. So no more cash only for foreign tourists. Definitely worthy for a visit if you are in town.
Great bagels! Had 2 of the bagel sandwiches & was satisfied!
Since they are a staple in the community you can expect 15-30 mins wait time. Worth the weight in my opinion
Totally worth the hype! We had heard that its a Montreal icon & now we know wy. When we reached, there was a big lineup. For a.moment we thought it not worth it as we estimated it.could take up to an hour. But we decided to stay in the line. The line moved surprisingly quickly, thanks to excellent management & speed of service.
As for taste & concept, this was simply unique. The bagels were fresh made right in front of your eyes, the selection was great, & the service was nice & courteous despite the rush.
Must visit for any trip to Montreal.
We got two bagel sandwiches like WOW SANDWICH & STEAK but both was something were ordinary -I really didn't like it! It is not my first time which I order bagel sandwich. You know? The tast was soooo normal & disappointed.
I went here on a Sunday morning around 10ish (street parking is free until 1PM on Sundays & we saw quite a few spots empty). There was a long queue, & the wait time was about 30 minutes for a table. But the bagels were completely worth the wait & all the hype. A must-visit spot if you're in Montreal.
Super bons bagels comme toujours, bon service ! Très bruyant & achalandé pendant notre passage peut être trop de tables pour l'espace disponible mais sinon au top !
As a vegetarian, I was disappointed with the experience. The restaurant wasn't great value for money, & there were very limited vegetarian options available. We were told that all sandwiches could be made vegetarian, but they didn't deliver on that promise. A few ingredients were missing from all of our sandwiches, & we even had to send one back because the order was completely wrong. While a couple of staff members were friendly & welcoming, the overall experience was underwhelming. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend this place for vegetarians.
