I really like the concept behind Spirulina, & I've tried many different locations. Unfortunately, this one has disappointed me every single time. I've given it three chances, hoping the experience would improve, but it never did.

The biggest issue is the staff's attitude. They come across as indifferent & simply don't seem to care. If your order is made incorrectly, there is little concern about fixing it. On one visit, I even saw an employee standing behind another employee just chatting instead of helping, & they clearly weren't being trained while the wait line was getting long.

The service is also incredibly slow. Waiting 15 minutes for a smoothie is unreasonable, especially when the store isn't particularly busy.

What bothered me the most happened twice: my smoothie cup made my hands smell like onions because the employee prepared a salad first & didn't change their gloves before making my drink. That's completely unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint.

To make matters worse, this is also the least pleasant Spirulina location to sit & enjoy your order.

Upper management should really pay attention to the recurring reviews for this location. There are clearly ongoing issues that need to be addressed.

Extremely disappointing experience at your Royalmount location. The'strawberry matcha' tasted nothing like matcha & had zero trace of strawberry flavor. It was bland, poorly made, & frankly not worth drinking. What made it worse was the staff insisting it was correct instead of acknowledging the issue. Charging $10 CAD for something of this quality is unacceptable. If you're going to price drinks at a premium, the ingredients & preparation need to reflect that-this didn't come close.

The drink Glow was good but it was a bit too expensive 15$ plus tips & the drink was not fully filled up. I was kinda in a rush so I didn't have time to complain. I liked the vibes at the food court. I would go back if the drink was fully filled.👍🏼

Very nice spot at the Royal Mount mall!! Staff was super friendly & helpful, & was very mindful of my food allergies, I can't wait to visit again! If your're ever in the area, I'd definetly reccomend for a drink & bite to eat!

We came here after seeing the banana bread matcha going viral on social media. Unfortunately, both the banana bread matcha latte & the americano were mediocre. The milk overpowered the matcha, & we could barely taste any of its notes. While the banana bread syrup initially tasted accurate, the flavour faded once the drink was fully mixed.

We did not try the food on their menu, so this rating only applies to the drinks we ordered. When we visited, the kiosk was also packed & appeared to be understaffed. Hopefully, we will have a better experience next time-perhaps with the food-& our rating might improve.
