SpiceBros in Montreal garners praise for generous portions and flavorful dishes, with highlights like butter chicken poutine, paneer options, samosas, and mango lassi that many diners consider among the best they’ve had. The service is a frequent standout, described as friendly, attentive, and willing to share samples or help with choices, contributing to consistently positive impressions. The atmosphere and cleanliness receive mostly favorable comments, though a few guests find the vibe a bit quiet or loud at busy times. The spot is praised for late hours and reliable availability for late night meals, making it a popular option after shows or flights, while some reviews note pricing can be on the higher side or that quality can vary by location. Vegetarian dishes are well received, though a handful of reviewers report bland or uneven seasoning on certain orders, and there are occasional mix ups like paneer being substituted with tofu. Overall, customers leave with warm memories of generous hospitality and solid Indian comfort food, and repeat visits are common when seeking a quick, tasty meal that feels fresh and well prepared.
The butter paneer was rich, creamy, & perfectly spiced, & the naan was soft & fresh. The mango lassi was deliciously refreshing. Great flavors & very satisfying overall-would definitely come back again! Excellent service as well
I walked into the restaurant & was completely ignored. There was only one other customer, & the employee never said hello, never acknowledged my presence, & didn't even look at me. I waited several minutes, but nothing. I understand he was busy, but it takes two seconds to say hello or please wait a moment…
The food actually looked good, which makes this disappointing, I really wanted to try it… Unfortunately, the lack of basic respect & customer service made me leave.

The staff are friendly & welcoming, & the food is excellent. I had the chicken pakora poutine & a samosa, while my friend ordered the butter chicken bowl. They stay open late, making it a great spot for supper.
It was late & this place was open. What a great option to the usual fast food choices around. Ordered their Samosa & Buttered Paneer. Both tasted great & definitely hit the spot.
Great service. Opening hours are long. Charging ports are a lifesaver. Bought the butter chicken poutine which is one of their more popular dishes. Can't wait to try it out. Recommended to support purely due to good service.
Met Robin at the shop; he was incredibly nice, welcoming, & friendly. The customer service was excellent, & the food & atmosphere were great. Overall, a very positive experience.
