June 2026 update:
Ordered 3 bowls, all three had about to be spoiled rice. No change despite owner response here, didn't leave a contact method either.

Potatoes are soft & not crispy.

Tandoori chicken has no sauce, all dry.
I definitely want to know if the sauce was missing since Butter Paneer & Masala Chickpeas had it.
Naan is too dry.

All the foods seems reheated.

I previously, on monday, bought a Franky & the Naan was made instantly on site once the order was placed.

So basically no change with the rice freshness & most other ingredients.
Cote-Vertu branch still wins when it comes to freshness.

Also the lady clerk was not super helpful & pleased either.
My veggie goodness bowl was 1 dollar more expensive than the going price for a bowl at 15.99$.
Clerk had to call owner, she did refund me the difference but I had to insist that she owned me the tax as well.
The other two bowl with Chicken Tandoori & Butter Paneer was 15.49$ & she couldn't & wouldn't tell why it was cheaper than what I took.

In the end she gave my parentd a free Lasso without explaining the reason of the gift. I feel that I deserved the compensation for the inconvenience.
No apologies either.

I most likely won't come back to this branch.

Removing one star since food & service quality hasn't improved.
****************

Definitely not the best branch.
It's bland & worst of all, the rice is spoiled, it has that rotten taste when you leave rice at ambient temperature too long.

Service could be better, clerk doesn't lack to serve, not awful but not great either attitude wise.

The portion is generous compared to the branch in Laval near Bell Center.

The best from all three is the one on Cote-Vertu, then portion is generous & ingredient are tasteful & seem fresh.

Robin was amazing, his customer service is excellent. I had the Bro Bowl, which came in a generous portion with an excellent blend of spices & flavors. I'll definitely be coming back for both the food & the outstanding customer service.

The staff are friendly & welcoming, & the food is excellent. I had the chicken pakora poutine & a samosa, while my friend ordered the butter chicken bowl. They stay open late, making it a great spot for supper.

We just landed in Montreal yesterday & decided to try SpiceBros as it was closer to our stay. We got the Butter Paneer Poutine, Chick Peas Masala frankie & Chick Peas Masala rice bowl. The service was super good, we even got a bit to taste before we decided to buy. Every bite of each dish we ordered was flavourful. The spice level was perfect. For vegetarians, this one is a good option in the area. We enjoyed the service, the food & also that it did not empty our pockets. Please try this if you are in the area, we had an amazing dinner after a very tiring day

Only menu looks promising. The items looked good but not tasted good. Even though all the items had lot of things but still they were not flavourful. The butter gravy in franky or rice bowl was bland.

Ordered the Paneer bowl & instead of Paneer they gave us Tofu. I thought I accidentally ordered the wrong thing but tofu isn't even listed on the menu so it's a little strange. Also, for a place called Spice bros the food is rather bland. Samosa was good though. The owner responded to this review saying they don't use tofu. I'm born in India, I've been eating Paneer all my life. I'm raised in canada & spent a lot of time in Japan & know exactly what Tofu is like. What I received was definitely tofu. Trust me, this confused me too but that is the fact. Posting a photo of this'paneer'. If you know what paneer looks like you can clearly see this isn't paneer.

The veggie goodness bowl was unusual & tasty- not spicy as requested- yay- & the Nan bread was delicious! Khushbu, our waitress, was personable & efficient. I sort of liked the Indian style mural on the wall. Spicebros is a good place to eat near le Quartier des Spectacles- reasonably priced, tasty, healthy & quick. My only disappointment was finding out that the pink chai I ordered was made from a mix.
