Au cours de sa tournée nord-américaine, la Superstar grecque Mihalis Hatzigiannis a découvert Melina Mammas, une jeune chanteuse grecque canadienne, fille de Lawrence Mammas, et a été invitée à dîner à La Belle & La Boeuf où il a été tellement impressionné par le groupe qu’il a proposé un partenariat pour apporter une cuisine authentique grecque Souvlaki, avec un concept Foodtastic à Montréal. Voilà que Souvlaki Bar est né, ouvrant notre premier magasin le 12 septembre 2014. Plus de 5000 personnes ont assisté à la grande fête d’ouverture où Mihalis et Melina ont joué à l’extérieur devant plusieurs fans heureux. Our waitress was so warm, welcoming, & professional- She even informed me that the Greek potatoes were cooked in chicken broth & since I have been a vegetarian since 1978, I appreciated knowing that! She was great!
Food was very tasty. I enjoyed my vegetarian souvlaki (the pita was warm) 😊, & my honey raved about his souvlaki plate.
The Restaurant is large, decorated in the typical blue & white, & the windows let in a lot of light. There are three restaurants under the same roof.
They even put a pair of scissors with the ketchup packages. How thoughtful is that?

Sat outside on the patio, had rich & flavorful platter, the pork texture was perfect, crispy & tender, complimented well by the side potatoes, salad, rice, & a Heineken. Service was excellent, would definitely recommend this place 👍

I went to have chicken & I said I did not want any potatoes & fries & rice because that's what it came with I just said I would like to have something healthier so the gentleman said well I can remove that & just put salad. But I was charged an extra $5 for the salad but I was not deducted for the rice & potatoes that were there so instead of paying $30 for a small little skimpy brush fillet I paid $40 for a little filet with a little bit of salad. When I ask my waiter why did he charged me extra for the salad when he removed the other food he says well that's how it is

Service was good, but the food was nowhere near to what we would get if we were dining in an authentic Greek restaurant. The calamari were overcooked & very chewy. Chicken was good. Rice, potatoes were okay.
