One of the Lost great places in Montreal if you want to go for a quick nosh. It's been doing something the right for the last 80 years & it's always been a pleasure to stop by here. Whenever I'm in town. Just remember to go for something medium or fatty in terms of the smoke meat cuts & it's one of the last places in town where you can also get a classic tongue sandwich or a good piece of brisket. I've got friends who go out of their way to bring back a ton of their favorites from the chopped liver & onwards all the way back to Israel or for the snowbirds to stock up just before the winter on the way to Florida.

First time staying in the Decarie area after many other Montreal visits in other areas of town, so I finally made it to Snowdon Deli. I've tried (& enjoyed) so many others…Schwartz (of course), Dunn's, Lester's, SM Pete, Le Roi. Sadly, Snowdon was a let down. The smoked meat was tender & tasty enough, but it was poorly cut & honestly just meh. I made it a combo with their recommended smoked turkey, which was also a disappointment. This review would have this been a 2/5, but I returned for breakfast & had a superb bagel with lox, cream cheese, tomato, onion, & capers. It was perfectly balanced & on point. The service both visits was friendly & attentive. So, overall a cumulative 4/5.

Very friendly service, nice environment. Delicious smoked meat but poutine was cold & the portions for price are small. Overall it is really pricey for what you get.

This place is great don't get me wrong, the prices are getting a little insane though. 25$ for a sandwich & fries? I'm sorry but that's too much.

I really love this location because it has a huge assortment of selections for us. No matter who you are, you will find a great option that works for you here. The general vibe is highly positive, friendly, & sociable. The help is quick. I will certainly be back in the future to see what else is left to experience around here.

Snowdon Deli is an absolute classic in Montreal & a must visit for anyone who loves authentic deli food. Their smoked meat sandwich is legendary, stacked high with perfectly spiced & tender meat that practically melts in your mouth. The old school diner atmosphere adds so much charm to the dining experience. The waitstaff are incredibly friendly & efficient, even when the place is packed. Always a highly satisfying meal.
