I've been eating here for years, but it was the first time bringing my kids ( 11 & 12 ) to Pete's & they said it was the best smoke meat they've ever had ! lol it's usually busy, but it's sooo worth the wait. Trust me. Staff was awesome & the food was out within five minutes after ordering.Voir plus

Attention Ceci est l'avis d'une française en visite au Québec. Je n'ai pas apprécié la viande fumée. Les ribs m'ont semblé meilleurs. Ok pour les frites qui sont fraîches. La quantité est importante même en commandant un petit sandwich. Ça cale bien. Dommage aussi, pas de concert. Je reviendrai pour boire un verre & écouter la musique mais pas pour manger.Voir plus

I make a pit stop here on every visit to Montreal since the cuts of meat are amazing, & the taste is simply lovely!
It might seem a little pricy, but the sandwiche & fries are worth every penny.
The best part is that you can also buy the meat & bread to make sandwiches at home.
They have live music nights & quick, friendly service.

The food was good. The atmosphere is nice though it was crowded. The only issue i had is the washroom was not clean & the flash was not working.Voir plus

La nourriture était excellente. Très bon smoked meat & les meilleures frites que j'ai mangé. Par contre, il faut s'armer de patience car la file y est très longue. Personne ne nous dit comment cela fonctionne. Il n'y a pas de service au table. Vous devez commander à un comptoir pour ensuite se chercher une place. Il n'y a pas de système de numéro alors les serveuses passent leur temps à crier le nom des gens au travers de la musique très forte du band qui joue. C'est une expérience en soit! C'est digne d'un décor de film américain!

I decided to finally try this Restaurant,which i have heard about for years. Unfortunately, I cannot give the restaurant a great rating. I ordered the smoked meat platter; my daughter ordered a lean sandwich. I found the meat to be a little greasy & overspiced. Simply put, not as good as Schwartz's. The fries were good. Also worth noting, there is surcharge for ordering a lean sandwich, which cost $16.80 ( pre tax). VS Snowden Delly $12.50. My platter was supposed to come with a fountain drink, but i was charged $2.75 because I got bread " on the side " with my platter. How else is bread supposed to come? So I paid $2.75 for 4 slices of bread. Honestly I felt like the whole operation was an assembly line designed to extract maximum $ from the customers. A real disappointment.

I can fully appreciate the stains & demands that the Covid 19 has had in keeping & maintaining your business with all of the Government regulations that you must now follow coupled with the need to increase your prices a little to try to recoup some of your losses, but to now be charged over $15.00 (tax in) for a regular smoke meat sandwich (which by far now exceeds other deli's) which is basically two small pieces of bread (cost ) & few slices of smoke meat (cost ), & also your smoked meat specials to now go to well over $19.00 (tax in) is way over the wall...As a result your once affordable place is no more, so myself & some of my friends who had been regular customers will now be taking our business elsewhere to more affordable Deli's, & rest assured there are plenty of them around with good old fashion Smoked Meat......Smoked Meat Pete is not the only game in town..it has lost its luster having priced itself out of a convenient market place for family & friends to attend...sadly reviewed by a former customer(s)

Un des meilleurs smoke-meat que j ai manger. J y retourne avec différents amies aux deux semaines & tous le trouves vraiment bon. Ambiance resto rustique ce qui fait son charme & employés super sympathiques. Un petit bémol en soirée le band joue fort alors je prévilègie l espace vitrée autour du resto pour pouvoir échanger.
