Review Summary

Shuyi Tealicious draws mixed but overall favorable feedback, with many noting a super rich milk tea that feels warming on freezing Montreal days, fast service and good cup sizes, and a strong overall selection that makes it a go to for a quick pickup while sightseeing in Chinatown. Some reviews praise the consistency and call it a reference standard for flavors and texture, while others report disappointments such as drinks with too little toppings or too much ice, or a taro ball drink that looked good in photos but delivered sparse toppings. A few criticisms mention a grass jelly drink that tasted medicinal and a mango pomelo sago that was tasty but offered only a large cup at a higher price and no seating. The shop is described as grab and go with no seating or bathroom, yet the convenience and friendly service keep it on the radar for regulars and travelers alike. Overall the sentiment acknowledges reliable quality and a broad flavor lineup, tempered by occasional mismatches between visuals and actual toppings.

Good taste & service, but they commit a cardinal sin of bubble tea shops : too much ice!

& I'm going to be nitpicky here … but it's hard to break through the plastic cover with the paper straw. You have to bring it down hard & it will cause a little spill.

Anyway! Very very refreshing on a hot summer night.

Little tea shop in the corner. I could not see it until the second day come back again to look for the shop, it is right next to the Chinese popular restaurant. Recommend to try when in Chinatown.
