I use to order from you many timers but the quality went down so much… for the price you pay you get a lot of rice.. & that's all. ordered several items & this time I was very disappointed.
I am a regular at Shushu. The sushi is delicious & of high quality. The service is friendly & efficient & the place on Notre Dame is cute. This is one of my favourite sushi restaurants.

One of my favourite sushis in Montreal. Always slaps, so fresh & delicious. Love the fact they're always consistent with the quality. Highly recommend 😋
Sushi is okay. Their noodles & rice dish also were not bad, but for a plate of noodles or curry rice, they charge 19 to 29$ (most items are 23 & up)… I find them rather expensive for a mediocre quality & small to medium quantity for the food. Putting the quality of the food & the quality of the service aside, we spent over 80$ for supper & we were still hungry coming out of this place. They need to be a bit more generous with their portions of noodles & rice served to customers. I feel as though they make it small on purpose just so they can charge for extra white rice when you need to order more. (We reflected the feedback to the waiters but they didn't seem to care & they didn't improve when we went back to try another time before this review).
I've been to Shushu many times over the past couple of years & always enjoyed the experience. However, this time felt quite different. The food portions were noticeably smaller, & the flavours weren't as bold as they used to be - everything tasted a bit bland. We also had to wait quite a while for our food, which was disappointing. Overall, the price just doesn't match the quantity or quality anymore. I really hope they return to their previous standards.

The most delicious poke bowl I have had. I stopped by unannounced for some takeout during the busy dinner time, & I was promptly greeted, & received my order in very good time. I ordered the Shushu bowl, & when I got home to eat it, I was amazed at the fresh, very high-quality portions of expensive seafood. All the veggies were plentiful, & the big pieces of avocado, too? Fantastic. For only $22 this is an incredible value. I have to say this is by far the freshest & tastiest poke bowl I have had. I'm looking forward to returning to try the dining room & sushi. I highly recommend that you try this restaurant between Saint Henri & Griffintown.
Since it moved across the street, & presumably has new owners, the food quality has gone down considerably. I've tried it a couple of times a year apart & the sushi isn't fresh, it's gluey & tasteless.
Fantastic food, restaurant & service. The quality is very high & everything was absolutely delicious. We had the Lava & Kenzo sushis, the Lava was the best but i also recommend the Kenzo. The portions were generous & the presentation was on point. Then i had the Salmon Poke & it was absolutely amazing. Will be eating it again. The matcha cheesecake was yummy. Service was great & attentive to our needs.

Food, service, & atmosphere was good. High quality fish. FYI, kitchen closes a few minutes before 2pm for lunch (store closes @ 230). Also, the poke bowl comes with a salad beforehand that has the exact same ingredients as the poke bowl (except rice & fish). The poke bowl comes in a very deep dish & has fish then veggies then rice. So in the beginning, it's difficult to get to the rice. You'll get fish & veggies only. Lots of food though!!
Excellent quality for a very decent price point. The fish is very fresh & melt in your mouth! They have a great selection including hamachi & bluefin tuna. Their cocktails is also truly amazing!🤩
Top sushi resto in town!!! I had a chance to try out some rolls in their exclusive sushi menu & it did surprise me. The experience is just flawless from the look to the ingredient quality. Their spider maki is to die for. Trio-colour is my new discovery. I cant wait to come back & try their Omakase .
