L'histoire de SHNOOPI commence avec notre famille, imprégnée du patrimoine culinaire des pays méditerranéens. Nous avons grandi en Égypte et avons beaucoup voyagé dans d'autres pays avec lesquels nous partageons la mer cristalline remplie d'eau, comme l'Italie, la Grèce, le Liban, la France, etc. D'aussi loin que nous nous souvenions, notre cuisine a toujours été inspirée par un beaucoup de saveurs de ces pays, mélangeant des ingrédients de manière non traditionnelle, tout en représentant toutes les cultures de manière harmonieuse. En créant SHNOOPI, nous voulions représenter et honorer cet héritage, ainsi que partager la nourriture que nous avons grandi en mangeant avec nos clients.

Un petit spot tranquille près du Vieux Port. Le restaurant propose énormément de sandwichs & salades tous faits maison. Nous y sommes allés pour goûter les lobster rolls qui étaient incroyablement bons, & bien moins chers qu'à New York ! Le riz au lait était également à tomber par terre. Le personnel est super sympa. Staff is very kind & accommodating. Food is solid though portions can be rather small. The coffee needs an upgrade though, I think they just have a Nespresso that runs pods. If you're calling yourself a cafe... I would expect a better coffee experience, particularly in a city like Montreal.Voir plus

We are sooo glad we had lunch at Schnoopi! The wait staff were engaging & fun. The sidewalk outdoor eating option was perfect. I ordered the goat cheese sandwich. It was sooo delicious...best sandwich I ever ate. Too bad we didn't have room for the Egyptian rice pudding. Highly recommended!Voir plus

I came here after someone recommended it to me as a less expensive place to eat in the area. I was very pleasantly surprised by just how delicious my sandwich was. They combination of goat cheese with honey & roasted walnuts with the vegetables was sooooo good! There is a nice patio with umbrellas for shade, or you can eat inside. They also had plenty of sandwiches ready to go if you are in a hurry & wanted takeout. Definitely recommended!!Voir plus
