L’histoire de SHNOOPI commence avec notre famille, imprégnée de l’héritage culinaire des pays méditerranéens. Nous avons grandi en Égypte et avons beaucoup voyagé dans d’autres pays avec lesquels nous partageons la mer cristalline, comme l’Italie, la Grèce, le Liban, la France, etc D’aussi loin que nous nous souvenons, notre cuisine a toujours été inspirée par les saveurs de ces pays, mélangeant les ingrédients de manière non traditionnelle, tout en représentant toutes les cultures de manière harmonieuse. En créant SHNOOPI, nous voulions représenter et honorer cet héritage, ainsi que partager avec nos clients les plats que nous avons appris à manger en grandissant.
En fait, le nom SHNOOPI est le surnom de notre nom de famille. Ne soyez donc pas surpris si vous nous entendez nous appeler SHNOOPI dans la cuisine !

Went to grab lunch at this cute spot during a visit to Montreal. Loved the ambience & vibe of the interior. Service was excellent. Staff were so welcoming & friendly, made a non-French speaking Canadian feel very comfortable (thank you to the kind waiters!). Ordered the Schnoopi & soup of the day. Both were delicious! I'm not a fan of bread in general so the sandwich bread edges were a tad too hard for my liking, but it was great & I would come back to try their other menu items. Soup was absolutely delicious!! Perfect for a chilly fall day. Spent $25 after tax on the 2 items.

Visited during a recent trip to Old Montreal & found this through a YouTube review of Montreal. The restaurant offers freshly made sandwiches & salads alongside a few daily specials in a cafe-like environment. While they are known for their Shnoopi sandwich (consisting of shrimp, feta & truffle), their Sirloin sandwich is also a great option as well. The Sirloin sandwich comes with slow cooked beef sirloin strips marinated along with tomatoes, onions & olives. The sandwich came warm & freshly made once ordered, with the sirloin strips being quite tender & was a decent mix of flavours. Price for the sandwich was fair considering other offerings in the area which is popular among tourists (due to it being Old Montreal). Overall, this is a decent lunch spot in the Old Montreal area either as sit down or for takeout if looking for something simpler or more fast casual.
Did a search for best lunch near me & we truly lucked out. Absolutely delicious soup of the day which was cream of mushroom. They split into two for us. & we split the Egyptian Beef sandwich...so good. Thinly sliced beef with cheddar, lettuce, tomato, hard boiled egg & Dijon mustard on a grilled bread. Dessert a rice pudding with pistachio & cinnamon. Absolute perfection & the service was attentive & friendly. Portions were excellent. Good value & high quality!
Exquisite cuisine with unusual Shnoopi created food. The delightful tastes fill your palette with an explosion of flavor. The service is above & beyond! The kind, helpful waiter gave us samples & recommended exceptional lunch delights. The atmosphere is quaint, friendly, & made us feel right at home. Sure wish I could have their delicious recipes at home! Visitors should not miss this exceptional restaurant. We are so glad we found it! We will be back!

We ordered delivery lunch for 12 groomsmen in my sons wedding party while they were getting dressed at our old Montreal Airbnb. Yousef was amazing regarding communication. He double checked about allergies & ensured that nothing messy was sent. I only had a chance to taste 2 of the leftover sandwiches - goat cheese & the Camembert. They were delicious. I will certainly have lunch there the next time we are in old Montreal. The groomsmen enjoyed all the food.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had lunch at Shnoopi for the first time, & it was an amazing experience! I tried their house special, the Shnoopi Salad, which is a delightful mix of arugula, ,mushrooms,truffles, & shrimp-outstanding in both flavor & taste. To top it off, I enjoyed a smooth & refreshing Americano. The service was exceptional, even while sitting outdoors on their lovely patio in the sun. Overall, a phenomenal experience! I'll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
The food was AMAZING! Ordered a sub each & salad to share. Was soo good we ordered another two sandwiches for lunch tomorrow. Super friendly staff & Delicious food!

We are sooo glad we had lunch at Schnoopi! The wait staff were engaging & fun. The sidewalk outdoor eating option was perfect. I ordered the goat cheese sandwich. It was sooo delicious...best sandwich I ever ate. Too bad we didn't have room for the Egyptian rice pudding. Highly recommended!
Came for lunch today with some friends, we had a blast the service was amazing. Then we shared a couple of sandwiches & salads with the whole group & every single plate we tried was delicious. & they are all different. A very big variety of sandwiches & salads. If you live in Montreal or you visit anytime you have to stop by. One of the best restaurants in the city!
Came here while out of town to grab a quick lunch, got the goat cheese sandwich & it was AMAZING, If we're ever in Montreal again we will be back!!!! Much love from Buffalo, NY!!!!
Went here for our last lunch of a trip to Montreal & it was incredible! The sirloin sandwich is delicious & the hot chocolate absolutely decadent, plus some great customer service. Make sure to stop by if you're in the area!
Tellement contente d'être tombée sur un restaurant où la nourriture est délicieuse, ou l'endroit est très propre & où le personnel est très accueillant. Je le recommande fortement pour un lunch santé & goûteux. On y reviendra sûrement !
