We've eaten here for breaky, brunch & lunch & keep coming back because it is so good! Reservations recommended. It's big but it fills up.
Really enjoyed my brunch at Shinas. The decor & the choice of colors are very elegant. The food is good & the products are of good quality. If the menu was richer (more options) it would have been a 5 stars for me.
I recently organized a baby shower at Shinas Boozy Brunch & it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very accommodating, & Barbara in particular was so friendly & patient throughout the planning. The food was delicious & everyone left satisfied. The space itself is beautiful, girly, & perfectly decorated, which added so much charm to the event. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stylish spot with great service & great food!
Excellent service & food. Feels like this spot should be in Montreal. Nice decor as well
Amazing! Simply the best breakfast experience that I have ever had. The decor is beautiful, the food is delicious, & everything is locally sourced! Even the dining ware is Canadian. I highly highly highly recommend!
My first time here & it will not be my last! The decor is very charming with fresh flowers on each table. The food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted as though it was just picked or baked. The service from our waitress was excellent. We were there way too long chatting & not once did we feel pressured to leave. I will definitely be going back to try the other dishes on the menu!
Ça pue la bougie parfumée, trop cher pour un déjeuner, le décor est louche.
I went to Shinas, & not only was it beautifully decorated, but the staff & food was amazing. I am coeliac & have to be very careful with cross contamination, however, my server made sure my food was safe. I had the gluten-free lemon ricotta pancakes & they were incredible. I recommend this place to anyone!
Je suis allé pour déjeuner & le service était super bon. La nourriture délicieuse. C'était ma première fois & j'ai trouvé la place très zen, le décor est bien pensé & épuré. C'est certain que je vais y retourner & que je vais le recommander.
I visited this place a couple of months ago & am just now getting around to posting my review. The decor is lovely, but I was disappointed with the food. They advertised a mushroom & brie shakshuka & noted it wasn't traditional, which I appreciated. However, my egg was fully cooked. When I mentioned it, they explained they serve it this way because most people don't like it runny. While they noted some differences in the sauce, they hadn't mentioned that the egg would be fully cooked. I was disappointed they didn't offer to adjust it, especially since they'd changed a key element without explaining it upfront.
This is such a great addition to vaudreuil! The vibe the decor, the class is perfection! Definitely underrated. All the food is sourced locally. Will be coming back & you all ( VD) should start supporting local businesses like this :)
Wow! What a treat! Great tasting food, prepared with attention to detail by an excellent chef. Ingredients are from local producers & very fresh. Prices are reasonable. Had lunch with four friends & we all rate it a 5/5. The decor is beautiful, bright, inviting & super-clean. The photos don't do it justice. We will certainly return!
I always read all reviews before trying a new place. Opening a business is hard, putting a one star review because they are booked out by reservations is completely unjustified. Come downtown Montreal where all the food scene is & that is how it works. However, I had the worst service I've ever gotten in a restaurant, so I need to agree with those type of one star reviews. We were the first seated on the terrace on a Sunday morning, & weirdely enough, all the tables who were seated after us got their food while we STILL had our menus in front of us. There was a different waitress for every table outside, which led them to be extremely confused. I'm not sure how you manage your restaurant, I've never seen this before, but the staff is poorly trained. The table next to us got their bill & we still hadn't received our drinks(pretty crazy). You'd expect a business that knows what they are doing to compensate you for that, but they didn't. Staff is friendly but clearly very inexperienced. The food: definitely the best breakfast in Vaudreuil since it is competing with all the chains, so it is obviously fresher food, however, if you really want the best brunch/breakfast, you need to go downtown Montreal where you'll have restaurants with the same prices that are even better. The decor is nice, however could be more cozy as it is pretty big & empty inside. This place has a lot of potential if you fix your current issues.
Music is way too loud & the high ceilings means all the chatter of people is very loud. Food was tasty but portions too small for the price. I was still hungry after spending 20$. Regular drip coffee not included in price. Served in a giant mug so it got cold before I could finish. Not really many dairy free/meat free options I was interested in. Service was good & available in English. Nice decor.
Decor & food details amazing!! But for a restaurant that specializes in breakfast, the food was not the greatest. The best were the hash browns.
Had breakfast for the First time on mother's day...we waited a long time for our food & when we got it, it was cold .pancakes where the only thing we liked.the french toast was hard & cold .drinks were amazing we had ice latte's . The decor is very nice but needs something on the walls it was very bright & cafeteria looking .music too low Had trouble hearing the music with the noise of people yapping.
I was so impressed when I walked into Shinaz! The decoration is impeccable & with a very classy ambiance. & the food... wow! Best pancakes I've ever had! Their menu is to die for... The ingredients are all local sourced & each bite was delicious! Top all that with a delicious coffee & friendly service. I'm definitely going back!
BEST Brunch! I have been over 5 times & every single time I was impressed by the quality of the food & service. It's beautifully decorated & very clean. The owner & the staff are very welcoming & provide an excellent service. Truly, the best place in Vaudreuil & West Island.
It was an amazing experience. When we say it's all about the little details well this place is it! The staff is nice & attentive. The place is beautifully decorated. To have fresh flowers on the tables & real hand towels in the bathrooms makes all the difference. The brunch board for one person, in my opinion, could have fed two people. We met one of the owners & he was very kind. We also got to say thank you to Shinas, their cook, for her delicious food.
Went for brunch with my friends (we were a group of 8), beautiful decor & lovely atmosphere. However very slow service. Our plates were all brought out at different times - which is unfortunate as some of our plates got cold as we waited for everyone to get theirs). French toast was dry & underwhelming (especially for the price), the mimosas were ok. Coffee refills were not included & had to wait 15 minutes after asking for more. Overall the price was quite high for a brunch, it is better suited for special occasions & not an every weekend breakfast stop. I went with really high expectations, but left feeling a little disappointed.
