Service was good. The staff was attentive & welcoming. The food was slightly above room temperature, the lamb from the lamb shawarma benedict was dry. The tatter tots from their morning potatoes felt oily because of the ambient temperature of the dishes altogether. For the price & quality of the food, I wouldn't come back unless they fix those.

The shawarma benne was amazing & the perfect portion. Serving staff were very attentive at keeping water filled. I enjoyed the ambiance on the outdoor terrace. All my friends dishes looked excellent as well!
Best restaurant in Montreal! Perfect for a celebration. We brought so many people there & everyone loves it. It was for a birthday, & the staff was perfect, very attentive. The lamb is to die for & we tried the octopus which was delicious too. Merci beaucoup Shay!
The dinner at Shay was amazing. First of all the waitress Pamela was very helpful & attentive. Brought the different courses at a perfect time frame. The Manager at the reception was so friendly & all the staff really made us feel special. We had only vegetarian plates which weee all delicious. Particularly outstanding were the roasted beets, Fattel Batinjein(eggplant) , sumac fries & the dulce de leche dessert was fabulous.
The atmosphere is conducive to a very enjoyable dinner.

We were pleasantly surprised by the service & food at this new restaurant. They had served the wrong bottle of white wine, & replaced it without charge. The food was honestly the best middle Eastern dishes I've had. & our waitress was extremely attentive. Highly recommend
Nice decor & ambiance. No wait time to be seated. Waiters were attentive (both at taking our order & also taking our plates away). Maybe felt a bit too rushed to clean our table. Food was tasty but portions were very small & not worth the price. We were left hungry & went down the street for dessert. I don't think I would return. Overall ok experience.
Service & food were great. Only disappointments was the Fattouche salad - small, expensive & not great. Also, the chocolate mousse was bitter & liquidy - not pleasing at all. Otherwise we tried many dishes & they were delicious. Service was friendly & attentive.

Great ambience, very kind & attentive wait staff, & the food was superb. Vegans/Vegetarians are not an afterthought here, with many great vegan/veggie options! The meat-based options are delicious as well. 10/10, will be back soon!
Absolutely delicious food & professional & attentive service staff. Very creative cocktail list & aesthetically pleasing presentation. A calm environment with excellent lighting & music quiet enough to easily hear one another & while still providing a nice ambiance. Lots of space between tables, which made us comfortable in light of the pandemic. Highly recommended!
