The food is delicious & the atmosphere is truly pleasant. Service can be a bit slow when it's busy, but the staff is so friendly that it's well worth the wait. A great spot I highly recommend.Voir plus
This is our go-to place in PSC for a nice terrasse with good food. We had some of their salads (papaya & mango) as it was a hot hot day & it was refreshing. The skewers are to die for & a must! Their spring rolls were also delicious & very generous in portions. Definitely recommend for a summer eat with a quiet terrasse at the back. It is also bring your own wine!Voir plus
So delicious & the service was so friendly & accommodating & knowledgeable, i had so many allergies & they were really patient with it! I very much recommend goingVoir plus
My friend & I meet monthly to catch up on life, & this time we chose a cozy Laotian restaurant in Montreal-& what a treat it was! The menu is affordably priced, which made it easy (& fun) for us to try nearly everything: all the entrées & almost all the hot dishes. Each plate was beautifully presented & bursting with flavor-there's something uniquely comforting about Laotian cuisine that sets it apart from other Southeast Asian fare. It felt almost homemade, in the best way possible.
We sat at a tiny two-person table by the window with elegant high chairs-cozy, charming, & perfect for a long, relaxed dinner. & yes, we took our time! The bring-your-own-wine policy was a bonus, & the place had a really friendly, happy atmosphere. Everyone-from the staff to the guests-seemed genuinely glad to be there.
Pro tip: Make a reservation! The restaurant may look small at first glance, but there's a whole second section in the back. Still, if you're a party of two or three, I highly recommend asking for a seat in the front section-it's where the charm really shines, in my opinion.
I'd go back in a heartbeat. Honestly, not a single complaint from start to finish.Voir plus
A delight! Each dish was intensely flavourful & satisfying. Favourites: laab, boulettes de porc, muu heng mao, greens, & pandan crème brûlée. Kind, attentive service. Cozy ambiance - we sat at the counter looking out at the snowy street. Highly recommend!!Voir plus
We enjoyed an early dinner before the theatre. The food & service were both excellent. I especially enjoyed the Pandan crème brûlée. Delicious!! Highly recommend you try the fried spring rolls too.Voir plus
Food was exquisite! Service was very friendly & laid back! Highly recommend the authentic food from laos! Congratulation to their success!Voir plus
This place is a gem! It's my second time here in the last month, & I'll go back before I leave for sure! The food is incredible, the service is outstanding, the prices are decent, the place looks beautiful (especially the terrace in the back) & it's a bring your own wine. The hostess, Elsa, was so welcoming & caring. She even brought us blankets in case we were cold at the terrace because it was a cold evening. If you are not sure what to order, they have a tasting menu with many different items & the quantities are perfect. I also strongly recommend the Khao Poon, the meatballs & the calamari!Voir plus
This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a real gem! Food was insanely delicious. Everything, & I mean everything, we tried was amazing. Service was friendly & helpful. BYOB as well! Cannot recommend highly enough.Voir plus
We had such a wonderful experience at Sep Lai! The food was delicious; we took 3 plates to share & everything was very tasty with generous portions. To top it off, we had the crème brûlée dessert. 10/10, really recommend!
Just had takeout & every dish was great, flavours were balanced & authentic tasting. Had great service & inside the restaurant had a cool vibe. Definitely recommend.Voir plus
Excellent Laotian food! They have a good mix of plates to share & individual entrées, & Mains. The staff consistently have good recommendations. I was apprehensive about the laap but it was great. The soup is amazing. I highly recommend. It's BYOW & they'll bring out an ice bucket if you have white wine.Voir plus

Even in the rain, we were able to sit outside & enjoy the ambiance & excellent food. Highly recommend, great food & great service.
Delicious food, charming ambiance & amazing staff! Highly recommend for any occasion.
Good food! Nice sized serving for the taster's sampler. Crispy rice was the best dish! I would recommend you try the taster's sampler to get to know the different dishes.
Amazing food, amazing service, & amazing ambiance. 10/10 recommend
All three dishes we wondered were fantastic. The Curries soup with noodles, vegetarian meatball & the lettuce wraps with pork. Highly recommend- amazing flavour profiles.
Amazing food & service. We ate in the private room for my bday & everyone was so happy with heir tasting menu. I highly recommend the private room or/& well anything at this lovely place. Tatyana was wonderful with planning & service & Im just so glad I picked Sep Lai for my bday :)
Sep Lai is a lovely addition to our neighborhood serving Laos dishes, similar to what we found in Thailand. Sep Lai serves many interesting & delicious dishes with everything freshly prepared to order. Their menu clearly indicates which dishes can be prepared gluten free & which can be made vegetarian. The service is friendly & efficient. We had Jacqui serve us with her usual lovely smile. Sep Lai has a lovely heated patio in the back of the building, with a retractable awning. Sep Lai is a bring your own wine restaurant & is conveniently located across the street from the Charlevoix metro station. I highly recommend this very affordable restaurant.
