The decor & lighting were good. I was surprised that the NY strip I ordered was sliced, & it was quite oily. The seasoning was uneven, but the cuisson was correctly done to medium as I had requested. The service started off well but lacked attentiveness toward the end.

It's rare you go to a restaurant & see the owner working along with the staff & running plates. Desmond was an amazing host & took care of us like family. Recommend trying it out & giving a taste to their cocktails
J'ai réservé une table de 20 pour mon anniversaire car j'avais vu des bons avis, je voulais donc tenter l'expérience pour mes 30 ans & sincèrement je suis très déçue. La réservation était prévue pour 21h30, mes invités & moi étions tous là à l'heure. En arrivant la table n'était pas prête & les personnes qui occupaient la table étaient encore présentes. Nous étions obligés de patienter plus de 45 min dans nos autos pour attendre que la table se vide & qu'elle puisse être préparée. La table était prête à 22h15, & de plus nous avons attendu plus de 1h pour que la nourriture soit servie. Nous avons été servis à minuit ce qui est inadmissible. Nous avons tellement attendu que plus personne n'avait le goût de manger nous avons tous pris nos plats à emporter.
Les mets sont savoureux mais bien trop gras. J'avais commandé le faux filet avec un arrière goût brûlé (alors que la viande était tendre) & la poêlée de champignons…beaucoup d'huile dans les 2 plats
Top steaks I've had in Montreal. I was skeptical because I'm friends with the guys but I swear. I crave it. So succulent & delicious. Tell them you know Dag. Nothing will happen but makes me feel special
