This is my 50th time comingto this coffee shop It's really lovely place never change always has a good vibe, the staff very welcoming & the hot chocolate it's very special taste , they have a wide variety of delicious pastry.

I've always enjoyed going to Second Cup. It's usually one of my favorite places to study, meet up with friends, relax, & enjoy a coffee. But unfortunately, my experience today at this location today was completely different & extremely disappointing, due to terrible customer service from the barista, Sara.
My friends & I came to downtown Montreal in the afternoon & stopped by this café to cool down after being outside in the heat. As soon as we walked in & placed our orders, the barista, Sara, was extremely rude & unwelcoming. She didn't greet us, barely made eye contact, had a rude tone, rolled her eyes, & generally made us feel like we were inconveniencing her simply by being customers.
The worst part happened when our drinks were ready. My friend went to ask whether the iced caramel lattes were ours, & Sara responded rudely,'Yes,' followed by saying loudly,'How do you not know your own order, like ughhhhhh!!?'' I have genuinely never experienced customer service like this at a coffee shop. There was absolutely no reason to speak to a customer that way, especially over a simple question about an order. I'm extremely disappointed because I've always had a positive impression of Second Cup, & experiences like this can really affect a customer's perception of a specific business. I hope management takes this feedback seriously & addresses how customers are being treated at this location.
Unfortunately, based on my experience today, I would not recommend this location. I hope Second Cup looks into this situation with that specific employee, because this type of customer service does not reflect the experience I've come to expect from the brand.

AMAZING COFFEE shop we are in town for formula 1 & we stopped here while visiting town! Sue at the cash was so sweet & helpful great phenomenal service from her. Got an ice latte, ice cream & a muffin, all of which were delicious. A great time in this cozy spot listening to nice music. Will be back!!

I would normally give this place a 5 stars review if the staff were kinder.
I go there almost daily for my coffee, yesterday i went with my coworker for a 6 drinks order, I kept asking the barista every time she gives me a drink which one it is so nothing gets confused. She looked at the trainee barista & told her in very mean tone, in their native language (which happens to be mine as well, but I dont know if they knew) that she « hates stupid questions » the trainee agreed & they repeated it like 4 times, to my face, where I could clearly hear. I worked customer service too in the past, so i know the job can be exhausting, but i have never spoken ill of the clients to their face. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement.

I ordered my usual white chocolate mocha, & it tasted terrible this time. It is usually delicious when the male owner makes it. It tasted like burnt dark coffee, way too strong. I asked the young lady what it contained & she gave me the dirtiest look as if I were speaking a foreign language. She was so unpleasant.
