Loved the service & the vibes. This is an ideal summer spot for anyone wandering Old Port & looking for a bite to eat. Good, fresh seafood is hard to come by in Montreal, but this place delivered.

We were part of a big group, & a couple of us came really late, Seasalt was over the top accomodating & we got our food in no time once we were seated.
the seafood paella was delicious, & the seared scallop appetizer is out of the world.
The dessart especially the bignet/donut with ducle deleche are just out of this world.
Seafood was amazing. Caesar salad was just okay but the croutons yummy. Amanda was such an amazing waitress! Really gave the experience an amazing vibe. Really nice to sit outside. Would definitely go back!
Be aware that the crab claw add on for the seafood roll is $20.00 for a ~3 inch piece. Do they get them from Atlantis? Server asked if I wanted to add it & didn't mention the price at all. Food was good in terms of taste tho.
I had initially visited Seasalt last winter & the service, atmosphere & food were all absolutely amazing so I was very excited to go back. Last night we had the seafood roll, Seasalt slaw & caesar salad all of which were good...but no more than that. The slaw was quite long & difficult to eat & the Seafood roll did not have the large chunks of lobster & seafood in it that we usually get in a lobster roll. It was moer like a seafood salad roll. So. was a bit disappointed. However the atmosphere was great as was the service. So it may be a matter of taste.
My husband & I had the pleasure of eating here for a late lunch. The staff was phenomenal, the executive chef Rob was so enthusiastic & created some beautiful & mouthwatering dishes that he took the time to explain to us. We had the oysters, slaw, & shrimp & scallops ceviche. The slaw was great & the ceviche was fresh & light & not fishy. I highly recommend anyone visiting Seasalt for some great seafood & a few laughs from the bartender & chef!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sea Salt in Montreal, & it was nothing short of a remarkable experience. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was welcomed by the warm & inviting ambiance that perfectly sets the stage for a memorable meal. The interior is tastefully decorated with a modern nautical theme that evokes the essence of the sea without being over the top. The soft lighting & comfortable seating create a cozy yet elegant atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for both intimate dinners & gatherings with friends. The service was impeccable. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, & genuinely passionate about the menu. Special mention goes to Enrik, the manager, who made our dining experience truly exceptional. His attention to detail & genuine hospitality were evident throughout the evening. He took the time to check on each table, ensuring everyone was enjoying their meal & providing personalized recommendations. Now, onto the star of the show - the food. Sea Salt offers a diverse menu that celebrates the bounty of the ocean. I started with the octopus carpaccio, which was beautifully presented & incredibly fresh. The delicate flavors were enhanced by a drizzle of olive oil & a sprinkle of sea salt, letting the quality of the ingredients shine through. For the main course, I opted for the seafood risotto. It was a masterpiece. The risotto was creamy & perfectly cooked, infused with the rich flavors of lobster, scallops, & shrimp. Each bite was a delightful blend of textures & tastes that left me craving more. Dessert was equally impressive. I chose the lemon tart, a light & refreshing end to a superb meal. The tart crust was perfectly crisp, & the lemon filling was a harmonious balance of sweet & tart. Overall, Sea Salt exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of exquisite cuisine, outstanding service, & a charming atmosphere makes it a standout dining destination in Montreal. Enrik's dedication to providing an unforgettable experience is evident in every detail. I recently dined at Seasalt & had an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was exceptional, bursting with flavors & cooked to perfection. The service was equally impressive. Seafood pasta was very tasty, the mussels could've been better quality. Reasonable prices but to pay in USD the waitress said they do not convert to CAD. My bill was $44CAD which would've been ~$32USD. I put away my cash & used my card because my bank will convert appropriately. The service gets a 4/10. Took a long time to get our entree where the waitress came to ask us if we haven't been served yet & let her go check on it. If she had checked on us in the last 20mins she would've known we had not gotten our food yet. Her checking on it took another 10mins for her to come back. In the meantime the concierge asked us if we were ok & we told her we're still waiting on food. She apologised & went to go get the waiter. SMDH ****************** Atmosphere gets a 7.5/10 They have outdoor sitting

Le fille très mignone & poli à la réception, Cherima💞💞💞👏👏👏..les serveurs sont tous attantifes & exceptionnelles ( surtout special rockstar Nicolas 💯💯💯, & plus il parle tres bien en espagnol Le seafood bien préparé & bien servi Ambiance très chaleureux & agréable Mais c'est mieux réserver en avance car cette place devenue très populaire 👌😉
My friends & I came to sea salt for a girls night & we had such a great time. The manager was so friendly which made our experience even better. The vibes are flowing & the food is 10/10. We strongly recommend the burrata, seafood pasta, & sea bass! Situated in the old port, you get to walk around & digest after a great dinner 😀
Beautiful terrace, wonderful food & excellent service. We had the seafood roll, the fish & chips & the crab croquettes. All were incredible, the best lobster roll I have had in Montreal! great wine selection, excellent cocktails & Jasmine was so helpful & kind. Attended a work retirement gathering last week. We could not have asked for a better venue. The servers were so attentive & always spoke with a smile. Maika our main server was fabulous. She never missed a beat. The seafood pasta was the best I ever had & the price was reasonable. I don't travel to Montreal often but the next time I do, I will be back. If you are ever needing to host a private event don't let this gem pass you by! Thanks for being totally amazing.👏 🤩
