I can see why this place is world famous! Their Montreal smoked meat sandwich was to die for! The staff were friendly & it wasn't too busy when we went!

Schnelle und unpersönliche Abfertigung der Bestellungen. Die Sandwiches sind leider etwas teuer aber die Qualität stimmt und das Essen schmeckt gut.

Pastel de Nata - Famous Portuguese Custard Tarts. Here. The best in Montréal. Maria partner & I talked about their new cafe opening up. I ate two de nadas & washed these delicious nadas down with their expresso. A great way to end a hike on Mont Royal Parc.

The ubiquitous smoke meat sandwich is a core food group to any Montreal'er. At least that's how I view it. It's one of those dishes I miss from my hometown. It's a dish that never goes out of style. Schwartz' has been around a long time & as you can see it's popular. Savor the tender smoked brisket done the Montreal way, I doubt you'll regret it.

Exactly what I needed walking through the city on jetleg upon arrival. Meat is amazing. Vibe very welcoming & traditional. Take their black cherries softdrink, add a pickle 🥒. You won't be disappointed...
