A classic smoked meat diner that holds so much history.
Prepare for line ups if you are dining in. If you are taking out there is a much shorter line to the building on the left. The sandwiches itself is not that big, recommend at least one per person for a meal.

Get what everyone recommends. You won't be disappointed. Smoked meat sandwich, poutine, pickles & cole slaw with a cherry coke. I wish we were here for more than one meal!

Absolutely worth waiting in line first for the food, second for the service & atmosphere. We recommend the plate, with bread, pickles, & for sure order the coleslaw. Add mustard. The famous soda is a perfect accompaniment.

We had the popular #2 & #4. I will go back for #1 soon, hopefully. Very nice people providing a no nonsense service with a smile. Waited in line outside & ended up sitting at the bar. Delicious meat. Very happy I finally made it here after 4 trips to Montreal. Highly recommend it to all visitors

If you like smoked meat, you're going to love this place. It's some of the best I've ever had.

The sandwich is almost impossible to eat because it's packed with so much delicious meat that it's falling apart. Personally, I'd recommend ordering the meat by weight & eating it with a fork. Mixing this incredible meat with bread & all the other toppings just takes away from what makes it special.

The smoked meat is the reason to come here. It's absolutely finger-licking good.
