atwater(13) salad(12) market(8) laksa(8) soup(8) marche(7) papaya(7) pork(7) noodle(6) buns(6) sandwich(5) summer(5)The food is meh for me & overpriced. I don't eat pork so I ordered the tofu bun & it only had good flavor at the center where the sauce was. The service was nice. Atmosphere was the best part. Lots of picnic tables with people enjoying. I've cream & doughnuts & boba in the neighboring stands. Really nice vibe. But the food is mid.
This is a great place to eat when you are craving fresh ingredients to eat. You definitely have to try the papaya salad with grilled pork, which also had nuts, chilli peppers, & a great acidic flavor & the pork steam bun. You can pay cash or credit & they'll bring your food to wherever you are sitting.
Satay Brothers is a Montreal mainstay for me, definitely one of my top restaurants, so i had to take my friends from out of town here. The Atwater location is perfect for a more casual consumption of Satay Brothers fare & today we sampled the satay sandwich & bao (& noodles from another restaurant). No meal out would be complete without a ginger ale & thankfully Satay Brothers is a restaurant of culture that stocks the best soft drink.
Great experience all around. The daily special was absolutely delicious. Will go back & would definitely recommend.
