We have been there before, & we had the same experience twice. Food is delicious, but the service is terrible.
The service people don't really care & don't make any effort (even the owner). Examples:
We found a bug in a plate (prior to the food being served, so it was obviously not from the kitchen)-the server's response. Oh.... I'll get you another plate, I guess. No issue, no trouble, it is what it is. & the plate never arrived; we asked her twice more, & she kept forgetting. It became a running gag.
Used plates were left on the table, despite our requests to multiple people, multiple times, to take them away. Even the owner showed up, asking how everything was, I asked if it would be possible to take the appetizer plates away (we were well into main course at this point). He said Sure, let me get you a server & just walked off. No one came...
He came back later, asking if we needed anything (the appetizer plates still on the table). We required more drinks (our server didn't check on us often...) He took two orders, & when the 3rd person asked for something, he said....... You guessed it, let me get you a server LOL. She came WAY WAY later. Again, a running gag during our evening
Anyway, we had a good time; make the best of it, right? & again, the food is fantastic! It just feels like, instead of hiring qualified people as servers, he hires family members who may not be best suited for that work.
We will most definitely order from them again, but probably for take-out rather than an in-dining experience. If I'm paying $480 for eight people (not bad for the quality of the food), I would still like better service than at La Belle Province, which is how we felt on both occasions
I hope this helped you :-)

The food was fantastic, as usual, & the service was second to none. The owner even chipped in with the service when the server was otherwise occupied.
The quality & price was right on.
Bravo.
The menus that were given to us had the oil finger prints all over it & the quality portion were not enough for two people. We had to order two mains for it & the waiter service was not good. I asked for the check which was not given to us at our table. We visited the dorval branch a week before the experience was exceptional which made me go with my family again. But this location is not good as Dorval branch.
Wonderful ambiance plus they had live music which was fantastic. Quality of food was great
We love this new location but the portions are smaller than just a couple of few months ago. Amazing baignan bharta, daal, saag is good but different amazing paneer. The chicken tikka used to be breast they now use thigh Chana masala is tiny & watery. The lamb is excellent quality & chicken tikka masala is my husband's favorite. 3.5 stars because of inconsistency, but I didn't dine-in so consider the impact if travel time & not being able to make personal preferences know to kitchen.
We have been desperate for a good new Indian place as one favorite burned down & the other Sahib hasn't been up to par lately. We actually made our first order by accident thinking it was the original sahib. Since then we have ordered every other day. The protein quality is top notch, the flavors are wonderful, nothing is overly oily, portions are very generous. Our one wish is that Sahib puts their lamb samosa back on the menu. Really you guys are doing a wonderful job b. Chat wait to go in person.
Even on a buffet the quality of the food is excellent, the flavour exquisite & the service is friendly & efficient
The staff were friendly & attentive. I ordered carry out. The service was timely. The food quality could be improved - samosa wasn't fully cooked in chaat. The rice & daal were good. The quantity is good enough. Masala tea wasn't hot/warm enough. You can park either in street or in front of restaurant. Google doesn't take you to the exact location as it is at intersection.
Food & Ambiance was great. Cleanliness A1. Service fantastic! Most important the food was delicious. The butter chicken was high quality meat & perfectly cooked. My favourite are the onion baji's!
The quality of the food & ambience are amazing. The owner took the time to walk through dishes with me as I had a dietary restriction & his recommendation was 10/10. Also, their masala chai tea is absolutely delicious.
Defenetly amazed by the quality. We were looking for a new place to try. & this place did not disappoint. We tried the samosa channa. You would not want to skip it for sure . For the meal we got Sahib Thali with butter chicken an also with lamb curry . Both were pretty amazing. We also tried Angeau Karhi Masala with Rice which was the best in my opinion. We were 5 I did not eat all the food but I tried all . Also the Toilet was very clean like spotless. Defenetly will go back
I really enjoyed my meal at Sahib Dorval. The inside was bigger than I thought & the waiters were kind & customer focussed. I asked the manager/waiter for recommendations & everything he suggested was delicious. The prices are not cheap, but the quality is good. I also enjoyed my cocktail. I will definitely go back & am happy to have an Indian restaurant close to home.
