Sahib Indian Bistro is an absolute gem in Dorval. The food is consistently fresh, rich, & genuinely authentic, you can taste the quality in every dish. To top it off, their beverage selection is fantastic & pairs perfectly with the meal. Exceptional, attentive service every single time. Easily one of the best dining spots in the area!
Had an amazing lunch at Sahib Bistro! The food was outstanding - really fresh, flavorful meat & everything tasted authentic. The place itself is elegant & cozy, perfect for a nice night out. Special shoutout to Manisha, she was so friendly & made our experience even better. Yes, the prices are on the higher side, but you can tell they use quality ingredients. Definitely worth it. Highly recommend!
I had a very disappointing experience at Sahib Restaurant. We ordered the Paneer Tikka & Malai Mushroom, but both dishes seemed undercooked & tasted raw. The drinks were also overly salty & not enjoyable.
What made the experience even more uncomfortable was being asked for a tip at the end despite the poor quality of the food & overall experience.
Unfortunately, this visit did not meet our expectations, & I hope the restaurant takes customer feedback seriously & improves its food quality & service.
I recently visited this restaurant. The food was very good, but the portions were quite small. The service was excellent. However, I found it a bit expensive considering the quality & quantity of the food.
Sahib Indian Restaurant offers rich, authentic flavors in a warm & welcoming setting. The dishes are well-spiced, freshly prepared, & full of traditional taste. Friendly service & generous portions make it a great choice for anyone craving quality Indian cuisine.
Even on a buffet the quality of the food is excellent, the flavour exquisite & the service is friendly & efficient; music a bit loud but still mixes well with the deco
We have been there before, & we had the same experience twice. Food is delicious, but the service is terrible.
The service people don't really care & don't make any effort (even the owner). Examples:
We found a bug in a plate (prior to the food being served, so it was obviously not from the kitchen)-the server's response. Oh.... I'll get you another plate, I guess. No issue, no trouble, it is what it is. & the plate never arrived; we asked her twice more, & she kept forgetting. It became a running gag.
Used plates were left on the table, despite our requests to multiple people, multiple times, to take them away. Even the owner showed up, asking how everything was, I asked if it would be possible to take the appetizer plates away (we were well into main course at this point). He said Sure, let me get you a server & just walked off. No one came...
He came back later, asking if we needed anything (the appetizer plates still on the table). We required more drinks (our server didn't check on us often...) He took two orders, & when the 3rd person asked for something, he said....... You guessed it, let me get you a server LOL. She came WAY WAY later. Again, a running gag during our evening
Anyway, we had a good time; make the best of it, right? & again, the food is fantastic! It just feels like, instead of hiring qualified people as servers, he hires family members who may not be best suited for that work.
We will most definitely order from them again, but probably for take-out rather than an in-dining experience. If I'm paying $480 for eight people (not bad for the quality of the food), I would still like better service than at La Belle Province, which is how we felt on both occasions
