We came here while visiting Montreal, & everything was on point. The food was delicious, especially the poutine, which was one of the best we tried during our trip. The cocktails were great too, & the atmosphere was really nice.
Massive shout-out to the young guy who looked after us. We had a laugh trying to guess his age, & he was an absolute star all night. We were a group of nine & wanted to switch tables, & he sorted everything out straight away with a smile & a genuine can-do attitude. You can tell he really cares about making sure guests have a great time.
One of the better casual spots we found in Montreal.
Staff were all very friendly. Service can be a bit slow as they are a very busy place. The lobster roll was tasty. The portions are relatively generous, like many other places in Montreal. Tried some Canadian desserts as well. A good place to go for if someone wants to try Canadian food.
We enjoyed our drinks & the coleslaw. The waiter was very pleasant. BUT ....we ordered the poutine & it was not good. The fries were white, cold & flabby as if they had been cooked for far less than required. We might be obvious tourists but we have eaten this delicious dish before, more times than is perhaps healthy. So when the waiter came & asked how it was I said its kind of cold & the fries seem a bit uncooked. She looked at our two uneaten dishes & said it's meant to be like that. We just paid & left. We may not be poutine experts but we know its not'meant to be like that'. Cold & soggy undercooked fries would not have brought this usually delicious dish its fame.
On the busiest night of the Jazz Fest we were sat right away for a delicious meal. Kudos to the staff for running a tight operation 👍
Great views, excellent service, & right in the heart of downtown. The perfect spot for the Jazz Fest!
I have visited several times. From the winter menu, I especially liked the onion soup & the maple cake. The St-Hubert chicken is very tasty. In summer menu, I really enjoyed the Caesar salad & the crispy chicken breast fillets. The staff, especially Maud, were very kind & helpful throughout our visit & made great food recommendations.
This is the FIRST & LAST time visiting this place. The waitress at the entrance had such a disrespectful attitude, body language expressing anger while the tone of voice & the way she spoke to me was terrible. I arrived to the place happy with all my intention of having a good meal in a nice place but these kind of people giving service make the place the WORST to come. The same comment about the person who took my order, the same one giving service at the bar, a woman with a very rude attitude, that really makes this place the worst option to come to eat, she didn't even have the patient to clarify in a good way one concern I had about the menu… is very frustrating & dissapointing that this Restaurant keep these kind of people working at a customer service. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE! Not recommended, never!
