The food is amazing & the staff is incredibly warm & welcoming. I was stuck outside my apartment because my door froze, & I came into Portugalia to wait. They welcomed me right away & even offered me a poutine (genuinely one of the best I've had in Montreal).

This is called Portugalia Poutine Supremo. I asked them to make it especially for me. Instead of fries I asked for portugués roast ball potatoes, curds, sauce, grilled chicken & piri piri sauce supremo!! Excellent!!

Cool small sit down spot. This was the best choice, initially we wanted to eat at ma poulet but we did not want to wait on the long line. So glad we found this restaurant!
Ordered the Demi-demi with rice & salad & the classic poutine. Perfect for two persons & had left overs.
Meats were grilled with flavorful & opted for spicy. Would recommend eating here.
We had a couple of sandwiches & poutine & they were all mouth watering!! Definitely one of the best Portuguese chicken around, as a bonus we had great service by Gabriel! Can't wait to go back!

Had to wait a little for our order, but was definitely worth it in the end. The meat was great value for money & had a lovely charcoal flavour - I also really enjoyed their poutine! Hard to believe it was a mini size 😳
La poutine au poulet avec leur sauce épicée est de loin la meilleure poutine que j'ai mangé à Montréal. Un délice. La portion est généreuse, le poulet est extra. La sauce épicée vient relevé le tout. Vraiment un gros coup de coeur.
C'est intrigant de se rendre compte que les 3 meilleurs restaurants de poulet portugais sont tous sur la rue Rachel. & Portugalia, pour nous, c'est le meilleur. Poule Mouillée ou Romados sont très bons, mais Portugalia garde une coche de plus. Premièrement, leur menu est aussi varié que celui de Poule Mouillée. Du poulet au bifana (ie porc) à la poutine portugaise, Portugalia offre un menu centré sur ses spécialités de BBQ. Le restaurant avait autrefois une salle à manger, mais la pandémie a fait fermé celle-ci, c'est maintenant 100% en commandes pour apportez, il n'y a pas vraiment de places pour manger sur place. Service super sympathique, rapide comme un fast-food & dynamique. Les employés font l'ambiance & vous le découvrirez lors de votre visite. Portion généreuse. The best chicken I've had in my life. Whoever rated less than 5 stars doesn't have taste. Seriously these guys deserve 3+ Michelin stars. I got a whole chicken+mini poutine & literally ate even the bones. Time stopped while eating, exceptional, sensational, pure bliss. Also super nice people, we stayed over chatting & hearing the story of the place. Worth coming to montreal just for this. Best chicken in town & beyond.
Tabarouette on s'est pris un sandwich chaque mais finalement juste un pour nous deux ça aurait été assez. C'était tellement bon que la poutine à mon chum goûtait le styrofoam à comparaison du sandwich.
Waited about 35 minutes for a sandwich & a poutine. Food was ok, but nothing crazy. Also asked for regular sandwich, but got a spicy one. I will say however, their portions are very generous.
Delicious chicken! We ordered the family meal along with poutine, which was also tasty. It's take-out only with no dining area, perfect for those lazy days when you don't feel like cooking.
