I went to Portugalia for the first time & I had the Tony Supremo sandwich. This sandwich is top-notch, hands down the best sandwich I've ever had. The bread is so soft & fresh, the chicken is perfectly marinated & melts in your mouth. The staff is so friendly too. They make you feel like family. I am definitely going back.
I've been coming to Portugalia in Montreal for years, & the food is always incredible! Paolo went above & beyond, providing exceptional, attentive, & friendly service that made our visit truly memorable. If you want the best authentic Portuguese chicken cooked on charcoal, this is the place. I can't recommend it enough!
Trust me, you MUST try this place! The sandwich was amazing & the portions are so huge i couldn't finish my panini!! Super tasty & fresh, great charcoal flavour too, not too spicy but has the perfect kick!
The owner & the staff were very friendly, & they made us feel really welcome.

This is called Portugalia Poutine Supremo. I asked them to make it especially for me. Instead of fries I asked for portugués roast ball potatoes, curds, sauce, grilled chicken & piri piri sauce supremo!! Excellent!!

I usually order a whole chicken to go & it was always delicious & not dry as it could become when cooking on a charcoal fire grill. I sat for the first in their restaurant & ordered ribs to try. It was just ok. The sides of potatoes (whole, dry on the outside & too oily) & rice were disappointing. I would suggest to stick to their chicken & fries which are fresh & tasty.
Absolutely delicious food & extremely friendly & hospitable staff. A very wholesome experience.
If you like it really spicy, ask for the dynamite ;)
Well worth the trip from Germany.

It was really delicious.
We like the meat to be seared on the outside, & the staff were friendly, making the whole dining experience enjoyable. I think this might be the biggest tip I've ever left in Canada-around 35%-because I was that satisfied. Highly recommended!
Quick service, friendly workers, mind blowing chicken. These guys have got it down to a science. Get the Tony Supremo it's everything you want in a sandwich. The spiced fries are also great!
It's take away, but oh my the food is just incredible. Definitely best Portuguese chicken in town.
Their spicy/hot sauce has this freshness that is just incredible. If you're ordering chicken go non-spicy & get the hot sauce (unless you're a die-hard spice lover)
The chicken is juicy & charred & well seasoned. The fries are great, the salad is awesome, the rice is good. So happy with my meal. Will be my go to place.

I waited 1h25 min for chicken & fries.
Quite disorganized, I saw several people ordering after the same & got theirs faster... Anyways mixed feelings.

First time there. What was I missing all the time moving back to Montreal? This is the best Portuguese restaurant in Canada so far for me. I loved it. It's as good as anything that I ate in Brazil. Rio de Janeiro.
The owner was so friendly. We tried the large family $59 feast for 3-4 people, a whole chicken, french fries, salad, ribs, rice.
It was amazing. My new favorite restaurant in Montreal. I will definitely be going back many times.
I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of our meal. We ordered Tony Supremo, Montreal Steak & Half chicken with fries & salad.
Everything we ate was not only delicious & flavourful, but portion was HUGE! It's super rare to find places that sells quality meals but doesn't lack in quantity. This place is an absolute gem!
Currently they have limited seats, but I think they are in the process of setting up dine in tables.
Such a fantastic corner shop that makes the neighborhood feel more human & alive! We had the Tony Supremo made by Tony himself. One sandwich is good enough for two to share. People at the other table outside gave us their extra insanely tasty fries. Tony also gave us spicy mayo & water bottles on the house. Would definitely come back!
Amazing Portuguese chicken. Portions are very filling, you won't go hungry. Got the chicken breast plate. Salad, fries, chicken - everything thing was delicious. Things were a bit hectic & we waited a bit longer than expected, but worth it.
