Une très belle cuisine, de saison & fraîche. Succulent & harmonieux de l'amuse bouche au dessert, le tout accompagné d'un super service.

I've been wanting to visit Rose Ross for a long time, & I was really happy that I finally did it for the Montréal à Table event. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, the full wall of wine bottles adds such a charming atmosphere to the space. It's a small restaurant, but very cozy.
The service was perfect, maybe a bit over-faked at times, but still attentive & friendly. For my starter, I ordered the Choux de Bruxelles salad, & it was amazing. The mix of crispy choux, fresh vegetables, & that citrusy sauce with a hint of pepper created a really nice balance of flavors.
For the main course, I had the filet de truite with vegetables, cooked well, flavorful, & beautifully presented. For dessert, I took the cake aux pêches which was just okay. I was a bit disappointed, as I expected more flavor & a more moist texture. It was also slightly burned on the outside.
Considering it was a special Montréal à Table menu, I found the pricing very reasonable for the quality & atmosphere.
My friend ordered the gros choux dessert, which came with a small $4 extra charge, but it was absolutely worth it. The presentation was beautiful, & the taste was even better.

Enfin ! J'ai essayé ce resto. Depuis le temps qu'on me le recommandait, ayant déménagé dans le quartier il y a 3 ans. Quelle magnifique découverte. Vraiment pas une seule fausse note. Les plats sont chaleureux, bien dosés, orginaux, une symphonie de saveurs inédites, herbes, légèrement citronnée, notes de fleurs, wow, wow. On va revenir c'est certain. Merci à Mtl à table de nous avoir fait découvert le menu. J'ai moins aimé les desserts, mais c'est que je ne suis déjà pas très dessert en partant. Les propriétaires sont archi gentils, le staff d'une gentillesse exemplaire aussi' Croyez moi, c'est hyper rare. Alors merci, mon gros coup de coeur de l'année.
Super expérience ! J'adore leur menu 4 services. Service attentionné & à l'écoute, très bons accords mets & vins. J'aime m'asseoir au bar mais la salle à manger est aussi très bien! Vous devez essayer le gros chou dessert au pralin & au caramel!
Décevant! Indigestion collective après menu 4 services. Nourriture fade bien que joliment présentée. Aile de raie servie baignant dans l'huile. Cuisson de l'onglet de boeuf ne correspondant pas à ce qui est demandé. Supplément de 2$ pour changer les frites pour une salade. Vu le prix du menu, c'est plutôt cheap de leur part. Dessert au blé d'inde assez étrange. Plus de 30 min d'attente entre chaque plat. Je recommande pas!
Merveilleuse soirée. Tout était parfait pour une fête d'anniversaire surprise organisée par ma conjointe. Nous étions 11 personnes & tous ont choisi & apprécié le menu 4 services. De l'entrée au dessert, un vrai régal pour les papilles & les yeux. Pour couronner le tout, service très sympathique.
