Great Service & sitting area but food is Average.
Steak or any of the plates are is NOT worth $100 + , you also need to buy the sides separately.
Appetizers not cheap either.
Dinner with 2 drinks each for a couple can be around $400 + Tax + TipView more

At the price we pay you would expect excellent service & food. Rockefeller oysters & potato was excellent but salad had too much mustard & steak was overcooked. As for the waiter we had to call him a few times ro the table for service. Bill for 2 people was 600$View more

Rib n reef a Montreal staple. The food is definitely good I wouldn't say its wow but the steaks are always cooked to perfection. Their rockefeller oysters are worth the trip alone they taste absolutely amazing. The salmon tartare was just ok. The service is always on point & the venue is very nice. The prices are pretty steep.View more

I had the pleasure of dining at Rib N Reef, & it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, & full of that classic, upscale steakhouse charm.
The service was impeccable & the staff were attentive, friendly, & made sure every detail was perfect without being intrusive.
While Rib N Reef is known for its steaks, I have to say I had the greatest Alfredo pasta I've ever tasted. It was rich, creamy, & packed with flavour, every bite was heavenly. It's not often you find a steakhouse that nails pasta like that, but they absolutely did!
If you're looking for an elevated dining experience, whether it's a special occasion or just a night out to indulge, Rib N Reef is the place to be. I can't wait to go back & experience it all over again!

Awesome meal, service & wine list. The steak poivre is fantastic. Old school French style recipe where they prepare the poivre sauce flambe style tableside. Great cut of meat with a nice crust on outside & cooked perfectly on the inside.

Very overpriced. $46 for 2 crab cakes. $21 for 1 piece of shrimp. Ordered steak. Was very bland tasting. So i had to put sauces on it to digest. Would not recommend at all. I have had better steaks at fairly priced restaurants with more flavors. They have valet parking, service was good, environment was nice. I had the best pina colada ever here. Crab cakes & fries were also good. But for the price i really expected more. Flavor of steak really needs an improvement.View more

Rib & reef overall was good! The atmosphere was great. Table side service ceaser salad & Tatar which adds to the atmosphere. Overall service was exceptional however it took a long time to get all our food. Steak was good & cooked perfectly. Not the best steakhouse in Montreal but an overall a good experience nonetheless. You can get something comparable at a much cheaper cost. There is also a cigar lounge upstairs which adds to the atmosphere.View more

The best Rockefeller oysters & shrimp cocktail I've ever had. Period. Succulent charred rib steak done to perfection. A plethora of steakhouse classics for your indulgence. An indescribably delicious homemade millefeuille. PK's game is among the best in the business. I've had the privilege of dining in some of the best steakhouses across North America over the past 30 years: Toronto, Chicago, Montreal, New York, Boston, Vancouver, Calgary, Dallas, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Nashville, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, etc....this is among the best of the best IMO.View more

Restaurant: 6/10, cigar lounge 8/10 My review is focused on the restaurant. Ordered the Caesar salad for the table (10/10 delicious) & the sirloin surf & turf with lobster tail. For the prices that they are charging, they really should have nailed the cook temp of both the steak & the lobster tail. My steak was overdone & under seasoned, while the lobster tail was quite good. Bathrooms are extremely cramped. Overall, not worth the money. This is like a fancy restaurant for people that don't know what a good restaurant is.View more

Very laidback steak house, good service, good consistent food. I've been going there for 15 years. The drinks are also really good drink & they have a good wine list. Why not fully 5 stars ? The valet parking... the restaurant is literally in a parking lot, just drop it or make them less agressive. I don't like people parking my cars & it's less convenient for me when I come with my kids. Every time it's a story of telling them I don't want valet ... I'm already in the parking I can get between 2 lines.View more

Our family loved it. We started with the Chorizo sausage (salty & good!!!), We shared a Ceasar Salad (Just wow!) & I shared a Tuna Tartare with my wife. Everything was just incredible & the sommelier made sure we got a great pairing with all of this. Try the fresh fish & the oysters (fresh, fresh, fresh). I took the Chilean SeaBass & it melted in my mouth. The rest of the family went for Rib steaks, garlic mash potatoes & why not: A poutine with Sauce au poivre. Fast forward to a mille-feuilles & a chocolate cake & we will remember that night for a long time. The service was impeccable too. Thank you! This is where you celebrate. Always a delicious meal & great experience at Rib N Reef. Classic steakhouse with old time vibe, & 5-star service. The table side Caesar salad is the best anywhere & fun to watch it being created, it's a must-order appetizer. The sautéed rapini is so delicious. Very tough, sinewy sirloin steak. Having paid $93 & it came out extremely undercooked. Unfortunately, continuing to cook his piece of cheap meat would hand only worsened it. They gave my white husband exceptional service while giving me none. When it came to pay & I was the one holding the card, they gave my husband the machine to punch in the tip instead of me.
