Mandatory-valet, so if you do not like that, don't go. Yet I'd recommend 😁
Date night. My first time over on the east coast & my bf had to take me to this steakhouse. & they did not disappoint. I ordered filet mignonette, with lobster tail, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli & asparagus for our sides. I usually order medium rare, but ordered medium & it was melt in my mouth perfection!
The bread they bring for the table, came with two big pickles (I love pickles) & fresh coleslaw. We also ordered fresh oysters & escargot! Everything about this place was amazing! I'd obviously go back when I'm here again & for sure recommend!!View more

Danny & Matthew were exceptional - they exceeded every expectation we had in regards to service. Rib N Reef doesn't offer a fresh squeezed margarita, I asked Matthew for one & he made it happen. It was delicious & he went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Danny had a great intuition for service making you feel like you were the only ones in the restaurant. I would highly recommend asking for them during your next visit. Service like this is VERY HARD to come by so when you do experience this type of service it is memorableView more
Went for a birthday. Bread & pickles were served & never refilled. We waited for our food a long time & many mistakes were made... when the meat came in, all of them were cold. When told about the cold meat, they reheated the same piece & ruined the requested doneness of the meat... Quite frankly, for that price point, we were expecting better service & food quality. I had the salmon tartare which was decent. I also had the raw oysters which were not even fresh! Somehow the coleslaw tasted like hay I can easily say I've had better elsewhere in mtl for way more affordable prices...View more
Our family loved it. We started with the Chorizo sausage (salty & good!!!), We shared a Ceasar Salad (Just wow!) & I shared a Tuna Tartare with my wife. Everything was just incredible & the sommelier made sure we got a great pairing with all of this. Try the fresh fish & the oysters (fresh, fresh, fresh). I took the Chilean SeaBass & it melted in my mouth. The rest of the family went for Rib steaks, garlic mash potatoes & why not: A poutine with Sauce au poivre. Fast forward to a mille-feuilles & a chocolate cake & we will remember that night for a long time. The service was impeccable too. Thank you! This is where you celebrate. Lohr a Californian Cabernet Sauvignon you bc any go wrong. The ambiance has a great old-school atmosphere. The service is attentive amd helpful. Unfortunately, the food is not up to for this type of establishement. The steak is just ok. The cesar salad felt wilted. Not fresh at all. The fries were overcooked & inedible. Unable to recommend this restaurant. There are much better options that offer much better value.View more
