Food & service quality no longer satisfactory.
My husband & I are regular clients, however our last visit proved to be quite below our expectations. We were there for Monday lunch. The service was polite but speedy, with attitude but without interaction, just going through the motions. The soup's quality was below average (tomato & leeks), seemingly using left-overs. The filets mignons were undercooked & full of nerves. In retrospect, we should have said something right there & then. But we need to be honest about what we received for the money, as our bill came to close to 300$. A lot of money for such little satisfaction.

It's usually so much better! We aren't weekly regulars, more like three or four times a year, with the family, twice a year in a big group, but this was by far a surprising disappointment.
Went New Years Eve before the gala. The steaks across the board were tough & charred. Same atmosphere, same awesome service, great drinks, the bisque & wedge salad were all great.
But the filets, sirloin & rib steak were all tough. Overbooked? Rushed? New chef? I dunno, but the five of us spent 1200.00 for dinners. At over 100.00 per steak, it should have been better.
We won't go back for a while.

After 7 weeks PK still not respond to my disaster evening, is this the' excellent service the corner stone of your success,' you boost?
I go to RibnReef for the best, not care of $, unfortunately, that night was …steak unevenly cut, resulted unevenly grilled, with waiter needed to be reminded I ordered a Coke, not received coffee ordered, having dessert & my' hot' towel cold, the waiter barely acknowledged our table! :(

Amazing steaks & their service is top notch. You get what you pay for.

The food was good, but not for the price in Montreal. We tried the chicken, & it was dry; unfortunately, maybe they could add more sauce. The service was perfect; they served us a drink because it was our anniversary.

The best steakhouse in Montreal! The food was incredible, cooked to perfection, & the service felt like they were there for just my group- always on time, consistent & very personable & professional. Beautiful space with an inviting atmosphere! 10/10 will visit again! 🥰

We came as a group of 5 on Friday night & I have to say, the best part of our experience was our excellent server, Sammi. Made us feel welcome, was great with recommendations & he made sure to call over the sommelier for wine recommandations.
The food was great, the fact that the dining room was more intimate made for a even better, calm dinner.
My only'problem' was that the plates weren't really hot so the food wasnt kept hot really long.

I ordered a rib steak, rare, it came medium. I sent it back they apologized & brought me a new one. It was still cold in the middle... I complained again & they took the same piece & over cooked it. I lost my appetite, I didn't eat the steak & I was still charged for it. Other than that the cesar salad, beef tartare & the sommeliers wine suggestion were fantastic. Ill be back but I was unimpressed with the steak.

In my books it s the best Steakhouse in Montreal. You don't go there to show off, it s not a tourist trap, just great food.

Visited from the States & ended up at Rib & Reef on a whim & super glad I did. The steak was crazy tender, lobster was fresh, & the staff were chill but attentive. A bit pricey but the vibe & food made it worth it. Definitely a solid Montreal spot for a nice dinner.

We had an amazing dinner for our daughters 13th birthday! Our server Josh was absolutely wonderful...attentive, kind & efficient. The entire staff working at our table added to the fun! We have been to Rib & Reef several times but tonight was definitely one of the most memorable! Looking forward to going back.
