I've been here about six times now. The service has always been excellent. The two ladies at the reception are consistently pleasant & welcoming. The food is good overall. The shrimp platter is tasty, the charred ribeye is solid, & the roasted chicken is one of my favourites here.
The ambiance at night is definitely nicer than during the day. It's a beautiful spot & worth visiting at least once for the experience.
The place is really nice but the service was extremely slow, it took so long for the food to arrive, I found nothing special with what we ordered, everything we ate was below average it wasn't worth the price at all.

Le cadre est magnifique,la terrasse est incroyablement belle & le service est tenu par des jeunes gens vraiment adorables.La cuisine reste somme toute assez basique mais pleine de saveurs.Mettez-vous sur votre 31 car les photos seront assurément belles & votre mood aussi.Passage obligé dans la galerie de meubles RH qui nous en met pleins les yeux.Enfin notre magasin RH à Montréal 😍A faire & refaire
I was very excited to try this gorgeous restaurant! Took my kids for brunch. The overall experience was great! Their lattes & freshly made smoothies were the highlight. Brunch menu had many choices, a bit on the expensive side. Some of the items we choose were delicious while some needed a little more flavor. Our server was amazing! Being a restaurant belonging to an Interior Designing shop, the decor/ambiance was stunning! We definitely needed Restoration Hardware in Montreal & being from the Industry, I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 hours tour of the 3 storey shop!
Having been to a three Michelin starred restaurant & more than ten two or one Michelin starred restaurants, this RH rooftop has the best bread service & that is not even an exaggeration in the slightest. The overall lunch & dinner service is also top tier & the atmosphere is heavenly.

We went on a trip to Montreal & had our lunch at RH Rooftop. The restaurant is absolutely stunning - the glass rooftop, chandeliers, & décor make the atmosphere so elegant & relaxing. I had the Whole Grilled Branzino, which was cooked perfectly, while my partner enjoyed the Grilled Shrimp & loved it. We also shared dessert with coffee, which made our lunch even more special.
The service was friendly & attentive, & we were seated in a beautiful spot that made the experience memorable. It was the perfect place to enjoy our trip & we would definitely recommend it.'
The decor of the place is stunning! Ambiance is nice. The food is okay, overpriced & portions on the small side. The service is unorganized & mediocre. For the price you would expect them to know some basic etiquette & be more organized. The place has a lot of potential if they improve the food & service. After all, it is a restaurant & we are not there to only admire the chandeliers.
Yes it's very pricey but I knew this coming in. I went for dinner & had the crispy artichokes & brie & it was excellent! Had the chicken burger which was very good. The venue is stunning & really did enjoy my time overall. Remember to ask for tap water! Or else they give to a 12$ bottle of flat!

J'ai eu la chance de visiter RH hier soir & je le recommande sans hésitation à toutes les personnes que je connais. La cuisine est raffinée & savoureuse, des mini blinis au caviar jusqu'au ribeye, cuit à la perfection. Le service est attentionné, professionnel & démontre une excellente connaissance du menu. L'ambiance est splendide, une véritable expérience & un privilège d'avoir pu m'y rendre.
Un cadre magnifique & agréable à regarder, avec un service excellent. Mention spéciale à ma serveuse, Justine, avec qui j'ai eu une conversation agréable. Elle m'a demandé si j'avais des allergies en cas de contamination croisée. L'ambiance est conviviale pour un café, un verre ou un repas.
I must say, for a new upscale restaurant, the service was truly impeccable. Our server, Blake, led the team with excellence & went above & beyond to ensure all of my friends & colleagues were accommodated-even arranging access through the closed RH furniture store.
The setup was unique, the food was flavourful & cooked to perfection, & the atmosphere was elegant. While our bill for a party of six came close to $1,000, it was well worth it.
A fantastic birthday dinner-thank you to Blake & the entire team at RH Rooftop Restaurant. I'll definitely be back!
One of the most beautiful restaurants I have been to in Montreal. However, the food & the service was severely lacking.
For the service, most employees were friendly, however they all lacked professionalism & proper training. I am aware that the restaurant is new so I can kinda understand, but it seemed like everyone they hired had 0 experience in the restauration industry. For example nobody would pick up the empty dirty plates, they would often forget requests, they wouldn't bring clean empty plates after the appetizers that are meant to be shared are brought to the table. I imagine this aspect will be better with time & experience.
For the food, it is wayyyyy too expensive for what it is. The portions are very small & the taste is just OK, they couldn't even get the steak & salmon doneness right, & even after the waitress brought the steak to the kitchen, she came back to tell us that the chefs said'this is how we do it here' so we just ate it that way. For example our 1/3rd inch ribeye that comes with no sides is 88$ before tax & tips. For the price tag, i'd imagine the food to be at a higher standard, but I guess the main attraction is really the ambiance.
I haven't tried their drinks, but all in all, I wouldn't come back here for the food.

The service is excellent & the ambiance is a 10/10! Unfortunately, the food was a bit disappointing. It felt overpriced for what it was, & nothing really stood out. If the goal is to project the image of a fine dining restaurant, the food should better reflect that standard!
We were looking forward to the opening of RH resto & overall its got a great vibe for sure. Service was excellent & very thoughtful considering allergies with one of our family members, they really made sure of no cross contamination. Our server very sweet, kind & friendly. Ambiance is cool but definitely the food is good but not great considering the high ticket price. I was shocked to see our lobster at $85 under 1 pound which equates to 4-6 small bites & no sides. Totally not worth it & felt cheated for an overall bill of $600 for 4. Hopefully the company gets reasonable with their restaurant charges & makes changes based on current prices for equivalent high end restaurants in Montreal.
RH Rooftop Restaurant has a beautiful & elegant design, which makes the place worth visiting. The food was good. Service was quite slow at times, & we often had to look for staff ourselves. But place is nice with nice atmosphere.
RH Rooftop Montreal is easily one of the nicest spots in the city. The view alone makes it worth the visit, but the food & service take it to another level. Our server was super attentive & friendly, & the dishes were fresh, well-prepared, & delicious. The vibe is classy but still welcomingyou feel taken care of without it being stiff. Perfect place for a special night out.
