The service was horrible, the manager kicked us out after 1,5h , after we spent more than 120$ per person… on a Friday evening. Very disappointed.
P.S. Change the management, before they ruine the reputation of this beautiful franchise.
Die Location ist spektakulär: viele Kronleuchter, ein grosser Brunnen in der Mitte und insgesamt sehr schön inszeniert. Wir hatten einen der wenigen Tische direkt am Brunnen, das war wirklich toll. Von «Rooftop» merkt man allerdings wenig, es ist eher ein Restaurant im 5. Stock, die Terrasse war zudem zugeschneit.
Sehr gut waren das Glas französischer Champagner zu einem fairen Preis, die knusprigen Artischocken (originell, viel Rosmarin, feine Knoblauchsauce) sowie die Salate. Mein chinesischer Chicken Salad war lecker, und der Gem meiner Begleitung war ebenfalls sehr gut und riesig portioniert. Der bestellte Weisswein kam leider erst nach der Vorspeise, zu wenig gekühlt. Es wurde aber später regelmässig nachgeschenkt.
Der grosse Negativpunkt war jedoch die Qualität der warmen Gerichte: Die Crevetten-Vorspeise meiner Begleitung kam zu lange gegrillt, deshalb gummig und teilweise schwarz. Wir haben das sofort bemängelt. Umso enttäuschender war, dass mein Hauptgang danach genau gleich misslang: 8 Scampis, teils verkohlt und sogar kalt serviert.
Beim halben Hummer wurde uns auf Nachfrage bestätigt, dass er gegrillt sei. Er wirkte für uns jedoch eher wie gedämpft, jedenfalls fehlte die erwartete Grillnote. Dazu kam: Es gab keinerlei Beilagen, was auf der Speisekarte auch nicht erwähnt wird. Für dieses Preisniveau ist das enttäuschend, zumal stattdessen sehr viel Sauce serviert wurde. Wir haben deshalb den Rucola fair geteilt.
Auch beim Dessert das gleiche Bild: sehr süss, gute Konsistenz, aber deutlich zu dunkel karamellisiert. Zum Schluss wurden wir nicht gefragt, ob wir noch einen Kaffee möchten. Eine Weinberatung gab es ebenfalls nicht.
Bei diesem Preisniveau ist das Essen für uns insgesamt leider nur mässig gewesen. Schade, denn die Location hätte viel Potenzial.
I visited LRH Rooftop in Montreal with 11 friends. The atmosphere was nice & the food was acceptable, but the service was awful. We experienced long waits for drinks, appetizers, & mains; the manager was rude when I raised the issue. Billing was extremely slow - we were still waiting for our checks while putting on our coats. Overall I was very disappointed & would not recommend this location; the Toronto branch is much better.
I went there for my birthday the service was so bad no one came to check the orders no one came to check if the food was good , the waiters were looking at us to leave .they walk besides the table & start looking at us weirdly it was such a bad experience omg I have been to so many restaurants in Montreal but never been disappointed like this .
The service was terrible , the lack of respect & welcome was a bit of shock to me honestly.
The whole restaurant was in chaos , all rushing , the only nice service we received was from our waistress that was very nice to us.
The receptionist gave us a very poor welcome & threatened to give us only 1 hour & 45 minutes to eat because two people were missing from our reservation (out of 5), even though our table wasn't even ready when we arrived.
The restaurant is very nice but that's a very big price to pay considering that's the only nice thing you'll get from you're whole experience in the restaurant,

My first time here, & definitely my last.
The arrival was very unwelcoming. We were rushed from the moment we sat down, & it honestly felt like they were more concerned with getting people out than letting them enjoy the experience. The waitress was the only positive part of the service she was kind & professional.
The food was disappointing. The steak was extremely small & very dry. The'poached eggs' were not poached at all they were essentially runny boiled eggs. On top of that, we were told there was an event coming to justify rushing us out, which did not seem genuine.
Overall, the experience was extremely unpleasant. Yes, the restaurant is pretty, but Montreal has no shortage of beautiful restaurants that also know how to treat their customers properly
Second time & probably the last.
The food was ok but definitely not worth the money. We got our breakfast before our coffee, & when we finally got it, it was cold.
The service was very uneven; waiters were more busy talking amongst themselves than taking care of the guests.
No atmosphere at all; everyone was all over the place.
Management & organization were definitely deficient.
Too bad because it's a nice place but that's where it ends!

Worst restaurant experience in Montreal. We were told to leave because other guests were waiting - completely unprofessional. If there is a time restriction on tables, it should be clearly stated when booking. Considering the amount of $$$ we left, this treatment is unacceptable. Management clearly needs to change ASAP before this place develops a very bad reputation.
Being asked to leave because'other guests are waiting' is unacceptable. If you have time limits, communicate them clearly at the time of booking. This reflects poor management & a lack of basic hospitality. Judging by the number of similar negative reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue.
I got an excellent experience when we had a brunch with my girls last weeekend. Mohammed is so caring & accommodating to us. Our brunch became special because of him. Thanks, Mohammed! 🤗
Excellent service & ambiance food is very good as well. I would definitely recommend this place to family & friends.
First time visit tonight & won't be my last. Clara was amazing & food was delicious. Such a cosy & beautiful atmosphere.
Really enjoyed my visit here. The food was great & came out exactly how we hoped. Clara took excellent care of us - super friendly, attentive, & easy to talk to. You can tell she genuinely cares about doing a good job!!
Derek, the manager, also checked in & made sure everything was going well, which we really appreciated. Solid food, solid service, & a place I'd definitely come back to

L'équipe était professionnelle, tel que l'on peut le souhaiter dans un endroit aussi élégant & esthétique. Un repas délicieux, & du rosé de rêve. Une des meilleures salades en ville.
Merci à toute l'équipe sur place pour la belle expérience & pour votre authenticité dans la qualité du service.

Première visite en Décembre 2025 = 3 étoiles : Mérite d'être expérimenté - sans toutefois être impressionnant côté cuisine & ambiance. Le rapport qualité prix surprend. Le rosé en décembre était très apprécié & délicieux.
Let's start with food. We ordered two salads, the Chinese chicken & the grilled shrimp, truffle fries & fried artichoke. I got a glass of white wine & my friend got a Bellini. We also ended the night with some mint tea & warm chocolate chip cookies. Everything was tasty. All presented nicely & served quickly. No complaints, but we did order very simple food that's hard to mess up. The downside was the bill at the end of the night. Unbelievably overpriced!! It basically was double of what the bill should have actually been.
Now let's talk service & atmosphere. The restaurant itself is pretty, it gives off fancy hotel vibes. Tables are very distant from one another. Their heating needs to be fixed. The waiter kept insisting on taking our coats saying that it would get in the way even though the tables are very spread apart. Then he insisted on giving us a pashmina to keep warm.. My friend at some point wanted to put her purse down on the floor & a waiter saw her & insisted on putting a cloth under it so it wouldn't get dirty. We found that absolutely hilarious, it was so awkward! Towards the end of the evening, around 10PM, the heaters were basically off. Everyone around us kept looking around to see if someone had opened a window.
To conclude, they need to dial down on wanting to make it seem as if we were at a very prestigious & pretentious restaurant. It was just too much! It was cheesy!
I heard the brunch was good, but at those exaggerated prices, ill probably go elsewhere.
i honestly don't understand why service is so bad, since this restaurant is viral bc of the atmosphere, ofc customers will take pictures & that supposed to be a sweet thing but the servers & the manager were literally gave us side eyes when we were minding our business & take pictures. So girls if yall wanna take pictures there be careful bc they are really rude & they will judge you lmao
