Prix raisonnable.View more
All the dishes are very tasty, the atmosphere is great, good music, very nice decor too.View more
View more
Great place to experience Haïtien Food Haitien Approved.View more
Great Caribbean food. I don't like very spicy food & they were very up front that some of their food was quite spicy. Their drinks were DELICIOUS. no dessert menu :( but my dining partner had a dessert shotb that he enjoyed.View more
The best pork ribs I have ever had. The drinks are equally as good.View more
Food was great, prices were decent & service was excellent !! I highly recommend this place !View more
Fantastic experience here. The portions were generous & the food was fantastic. I appreciated how quickly everything came (so quick that we had time to duck home before going to a show, which we didn't expect). The restaurant is also decorated beautifully which elevates the experience even more!View more
J'aurais mis un 4 étoiles si le prix des assiettes était plus abordable car pour le prix demandé je m'attend à plus de saveur, 4$ pour un petit cup de mayo , absurde un peu mais le service était excellent du moinsView more
Update 2023: we finally visited the restaurant as a group of 5. The food & the service were ok, however the cocktails were great. The waitress forgot to tell us that iur choices were not available anymore & were replaced but they did a commercial gesture. We'll go back because we liked the place & the choices. One of the best restaurant I've tried here. The food is fresh & tasty. I think I've ordered there at least 3-4 times since the beginning of the pandemic & was never disappointed. The Jerk chicken is delicious & so is the griot. 100% recommendedView more
Cuisine ordinaire sans plus. J'ai choisi les crevettes avec chorizo dans un bouillon épicé. Restaurant très bruillant à cause de la musique. Un seul choix de vin blanc au verre.View more
Palme has a laidback modern aesthetic that celebrates the Caribbean diaspora through food, music, & art. Walking in to the restaurant, you are immediately transported to a warm climate with palm trees, warm muted greens, & beige. The art on the walls celebrate black culture with portraits hung along the walls. &, the playlist has a super chill 90s/00s hip-hop vibe that you will never hear at neighboring venues. In one word, the atmosphere is DOPE. Palme also has an extensive rum list that will indulge anyone that has a keen taste for the liquor & knows that each island has their local favorite. For food, there is a balanced juxtaposition between sweet, spice, & savory. This is one of the few places in Montreal where I don't ask for salt & pepper on the side. The heat that is created from spicier dishes is warming rather than cutting, so don't be intimidated by the spices here. Menu highlights include: Accras de morue - Anyone who has been to Barbados will immediately be reminded of fish cakes! It is fried dough mixed with cod, herbs, & spices. Salade de griot - Pork & sweet potatoes with a tangy/sweet sauce over salad Saumon sur polenta de patate douce - This is fabulous! The salmon is soft & served over a sweet potato polenta that has a tangy sauce with crispy plantain & vegetables. It comes with a little warming heat that feels just right as we drift toward the cold months.View more
It is always a very nice experience to try new things. However, the fried chicken bowl is not as good as the Korean ones (personally, I would like the chicken to be salty & spicy rather than sweet). In Chinatown, the fried chicken in face of chez Chili is much better. // the sweet potato soupe is very creamy & very yellow, some people might like it. // my vegetarian friend likes his soupe a lot.// his salad sucks( but that's my opinion, he likes it a lot), the dessert tres leches is very tasty //en resume it's an interesting place worth trying, but the chicken is too dry & bland for me.View more
