Came to Montreal for our honeymoon, & randomly had a chance to visit this restaurant. I must first recommend the place for its petit environment with friendly & efficient staff.
I am always a laksa lover, the laksa is great for its broth, & is marvelous for the rice noodle option they had-Thin, chewy, & immersed well in the soup.
For tan tan noodles (or dan dan noodles, whichever you translate), it is considered the best of North America so far based on my wife's opinion (for these 8 years). The proportion is also fair for a single order.
Still, we two skipped lunch, so we ordered the beef noodle soup to wrap up the experience. For how chewy & juicy the beef chunks are, it worth a 5-star itself. The soup is kind of a blend of Taiwanese & some southern Chinese style, which satisfied both our taste buds.
As a result, I am adding another 5 star review to the 600+ others, the place is worth it, & quite a hidden gem in the city. Bon appetit 😋
The food was incredible & great value & had a delicious, affordable glass of Pinot. Can't wait to come back & try the laksa!
Great neighbourhood gem. I went for takeout on a rainy Friday night. Had the Szechuan dumplings & the beef laksa with thin noodles. Amazing. Spicy. Comforting. I'm so satisfied & I will definitely go back & bring friends & family.
Loved this place. We had wonderful chili & sour soup & Sichuan style dumplings to start, then tasty tofu Laksa & flavorful braised beef noodle soup. Also, an amazing value & very friendly service. 5 stars.
Absolutely incredible food!! Got the torched salmon, laksa & chow mein. The service was great & atmosphere divine. I can't say anything other than you have to visit this beautifully ran restaurant.
Incredibly amazing laksa & pork dumplings 🥟 it was a delivery but still delish & warm. We visited the restaurant for a lunch as well & the food was amazing as well. A hidden underrated gem!💎
Très très bon , meilleurs dumplings de Montréal & le Laksa est incroyable 🤩 merci , à bientôt ! Mention spéciale pour la serveuse sympathique & professionnelle
Small quaint restaurant with no frills. Sechuan dumplings were 10/10, the laksa I'd say 9/10. Next time more dumplings 😍 my mom got the braised salmon & it was insane. 👌👌
I want to eat some noodles that's why I found this restaurant. Laksa is good taste! I love it. Also
Food: I’ve been craving laksa & the one they make here definitely hit the spot! The broth was flavourful & the chicken was tender. I only wish they added more toppings like fish cakes & tofu puffs.
Entry: We were two on a Saturday night & we were lucky, only had to wait 5-10 minutes to get a table.
Note: Another customer ordered a scorched salmon dish & they flame the dish in front of you. Definitely want to try that next.
