Portogallo Restaurant, formerly known as "Portugalia" has officially re-opened its doors! Under new management, we are excited to bring back the authentic, charcoal-grilled Portuguese chicken that has been catering to Montreal for over 30 years!

50$ pour deux sandwichs, une petite side salade & un sumol. Scandaleux!
Mauvais service, pas d'accueil, tout a pris du temps.
Vraiment dommage parce que leur poulet est bon.

A fun fact about Montreal, the George-Étienne Cartier Monument is seen as a welcoming beacon to Mount Royal, but if you follow La Renommée's gaze forward she looks longingly toward Grillade Portugalia. This is a nod to their delicious sandwiches, particularly the Tony Supremo.
Forget the rest... This is easily the best Portuguese chicken in town. The Tony Supremo sandwich is straight elite. Great value & the owner is just a beauty with great hospitality skills.

Ordered a chicken meal on Uber, I've tasted all the other Portuguese chicken spots such as Romados, Poule Mouille, this place has to be the best, you can taste the BBQ smokiness, spice is amazing, chicken is tender & juicy, the skin has a crisp, the rice tasted very good & portions were good for the price, keep up the good work guys my only suggestion would be to offer Halal chicken if possible
Cool small sit down spot. This was the best choice, initially we wanted to eat at ma poulet but we did not want to wait on the long line. So glad we found this restaurant!
Ordered the Demi-demi with rice & salad & the classic poutine. Perfect for two persons & had left overs.
Meats were grilled with flavorful & opted for spicy. Would recommend eating here.
