Tout était délicieux, nous avions pris une assiette de kabrit, des frites avec une sauce maison, & une salade de poisson/avocat très rafraîchissante. Le umami y est. Nous y retournerons !
Not really happy with my visit, it was the first time I've ever came here & for so
e reason my food took 50 min to arrive. I feel like there's way better haitian food in Montreal, especially for their prices.

During my planned trip to Montreal, I had this restaurant on my bucket list, & it did not disappoint! Unfortunately, I live in a state where there are no Haitian restaurants, & having grown up in a city where accessing Haitian food was never an issue, I was really excited to visit this place. I'm so happy to say that it exceeded my expectations!
The decor, the photos, & the menu all clearly showcase that this restaurant is a love letter to Haiti.
To the owner, chef & staff, thank you for creating this amazing spot! I can't wait to return!
Pikliz feels like a neighbourhood restaurant with good food & great service.
On our first visit, the restaurant was full due to a big party (it's a small but comfy space). We asked Anna for a nearby recommendation & she came through with Satay Brothers, which was delicious!
We came back a few nights later, this time with a reservation, & enjoyed a really good meal. We tried a little bit of everything. The standouts for me were the hot sauce (which you can buy), pikliz, djondjon rice (wow!), banana donuts, macawoni, the mango cocktail, & griot.
Anna was a wonderful host & took great care of us! Really loved the music too.
Went there for lunch on a Friday & it was quite quiet & comfortable. The restaurant was small & intimate & we ordered a Malta Creole, a ceviche, the chicken wings, some taco-like dish & a special Haitian version of Mac & cheese. Everything tasted delicious & we were pleasantly surprised.

Wow, what a treat! The food was absolutely delicious & the staff were so warm & welcoming. You can tell they really care about what they do. Every dish had so much flavor & was really perfect for sharing. Can't wait to come back & try more from the menu!
The griot was super flavorful & had such a good texture to it! The vibe of the restaurant was super cute & our server was very sweet. Would highly recommend stopping!!!
Tasty food, fun visual identity, good vibes. I went in when the restaurant was empty. My food was ready in under five minutes, chicken was nicely seasoned, tender. The rice was perfectly cooked & the sauce was rich without being fatty or overly salty.

Can't recommend this place enough! We ordered a variety of dishes (the pate, plantains, wings, the djondjon rice, the pikliz poutine with goat) & they were all incredible. Everyone was super friendly & the vibes were great.
Amazing meal & experience here! Food was exceptionally well seasoned, crafted. Anna provided beyond attentive service while making everyone in the restaurant feel seen. Running the whole show, she provided background on the establishment, delivered conversation with warmth & offered the best of the cuisine with a smile. All of this together made this restaurant my favorite in Montreal.
Haitian know good food - & this spot really hit the mark. It's a small but lively place full of good energy. The griot was tender, the acras perfectly crispy & flavorful, & the bowls were generous & filling. The cocktail list was fun, with drinks named after Port-au-Prince neighborhoods & cities. Chef Mike is great, but Anna truly made the whole experience special.
If I had one small note, it would be the beignets - they leaned more toward a donut texture than a traditional marinade. Other than that, everything was on point. We went as a group & everyone loved their dish. I'll definitely be back!
