My friends & I recently visited Restaurant Makoto, & it exceeded our expectations in every way. The service was excellent, with friendly & attentive staff who made us feel right at home. The food was fantastic, offering a delightful range of Japanese & Korean fusion flavors, beautifully presented in each dish. The portions were generous, ensuring we left satisfied & content. The cozy ambiance added to the overall experience, making it a perfect spot for a memorable meal with friends. Highly recommended! I was disappointed that I could not taste the fish eggs in the Al-bab. My son did warn me, but I really wanted to try the dish. Unfortunately, he was right.

Next time, I will order the Bibimbap.

My son LOVES Makoto. It's his favourite Korean restaurant.

I've been to Makoto once before, & I'm pleased to say they lived up to my positive memories of it. The ingredients are fresh & the food is tasty. The ambience is modest but cozy. It is nice to have a Japanese restaurant that offers more than your typical sushi & teriyaki combined with their Korean offerings which go beyond the BBQ offerings.

I do not know whether or not it is authentic... but I'm more interested in good food & a nice evening... I'll be returning here.
