This spot is such a gem! The food is always on point! bold, flavorful, & packed with that Cajun/Creole flair that instantly transports you. The vibe is fun & cozy at the same time, making it perfect for a girls' night out, date night, or really any excuse to celebrate.
The cocktails are so good, pretty, creative, & dangerously easy to sip on. Honestly, we don't even need to travel to Louisiana to get the full experience! the flavors, the music, & the atmosphere make you feel like you're right in the middle of New Orleans.
Our server was super friendly & made the whole night feel easy & fun, with great menu suggestions that totally hit the mark.
This place never misses. Already planning my next night out here! 🍸✨
Missed the mark for us unfortunately… & we tried a bunch of items. First of all, the kitchen & service staff were overwhelmed & the restaurant was at 30% capacity, but this will get better overtime likely… Appetizers: Biscuits are good, shrimp cocktail is served with heads but the shrimps aren't'cleaned' so they still have the vein which is a turnoff for me, the crab dip is good not great, the Rockefeller oysters are ok, the hot chef oysters'caccio & Pepe' had WAY too much pepper, devil eggs just not my type I guess. Mains: the chicken & waffle is clearly the star of the show, jerk chicken is ok but rice was boring, jambalaya was dry & WAY oversized, gumbo was ok texture & size but the taste was off. Beignets were good. I think some of the plates need to be rethought & some adjustments are needed. Also 37$ for gumbo or jambalaya isn't realistic, lower the price & make the portions half of what they are.

2.5/5
I really wanted to like this place… but unfortunately, it turned out to be an overpriced disappointment 🥲. The portions are on the smaller side, especially when it comes to the entrées.
For starters, the oysters didn't come with any horseradish, Tabasco, or any type of spicy sauce, which felt incomplete. Then, the shrimp entrée came with only three shrimp, although they were big, their texture was oddly rough & rubbery-almost like they were on steroids. I don't mean any disrespect, as I know the team is working hard to create a good dining experience, but I honestly can't think of a better way to describe it.
Sadly, the shrimp issue carried over into our main dishes as well. Both the jambalaya & gumbo lacked flavor, & in my boyfriend's & my opinion, were just bland. Paying nearly $40 for a plate of rice with a few pieces of chicken & sausage in a tasteless sauce was hard to justify. I came hoping for soulful, flavorful food, but that wasn't my experience.
That said, we still tipped well because our server, while a bit slow, was pleasant, & you can tell the staff is trying their best. Since it's a newly opened restaurant, I think there's definitely potential-but right now, there's still a lot of room for improvement.
The ambiance & food was good. I really enjoyed my experience & will be definitely returning. The manager Emilie gave made is feel back in Louisiana New Orleans
Great food, nice decor. We had taco jerk, creole shrimps & crab cakes to start, all yummy 😋 the chicken & gumbo with shrimps, chicken & ocras for main course, delicious 😋 good service 😊
