Le Richmond propose une cuisine recherchée du nord de l’Italie avec influences piémontaises, vénitiennes et de l’Émilie-Romagne qui met l’accent sur la fraîcheur des aliments. Le menu est épuré et offre une cuisine de proximité, conçue à partir d’aliments régionaux et locaux. Tout en fraîcheur, le menu met en vedette des aliments de saison ainsi que des produits coup de cœur d’importation privée provenant de petits producteurs d’Italie.
Occupant un espace industriel qui date de la fin des années 1800, Le Richmond offre également une expérience d’ambiance, dans un décor qui allie les matériaux d’époque à d’autres, plus contemporains. Proposant 140 places assises et 70 places sur la terrasse, Le Richmond est incontestablement le plus grand restaurant de Griffintown.
Le Richmond est décrit comme un endroit beau et élégant, à la fois chic et chaleureux, idéal pour toutes les occasions et les événements, des dîners romantiques et anniversaires aux réunions d’affaires et mariages, avec une ambiance soignée et un service généralement attentif et professionnel. La cuisine est variée et bien exécutée, avec des plats tels que le carpaccio, la burrata, les raviolis au crabe, le rib steak et le risotto, et des desserts appréciés; toutefois certains plats peuvent etre secs ou sous-cuits et le rapport qualite-prix peut varier lors de services tres demandés. Dans l’ensemble, l’expérience est largement positive: cadre et ambiance mis en valeur, personnel souvent excellent, et les lieux sont recommandés pour des rencontres entre amis, en amoureux ou en famille et pour des mariages, tout en notant ponctuellement des lenteurs ou un coût percu plus élevé lors de certaines occasions.
A very nice restaurant with ambient lights & atmosphere. The staff is super kind & always asking you about your food experience. We started with the red wine & moved on to the main course. I had the Snow Crab Agnolotti & it was beyond delicious & one of a kind culinary experience. My partner had the Rack of Lamb & he loved the consistency of it for it was very well made. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse & it was beyond delicious & we loved the presentation! Just make reservations & it's a great restaurant for date night with a super hospitable staff. A 10/10 from me :) UPDATE: Went for Brunch at Le Richmond & the food was great ! We had eggs Benedict to omelette to Avocado French toast & we really loved the food. The brunch venue is super cozy & well-light with great service :) MORE UPDATES: Went for Bistro dinner at Le Richmond & it was an awesome cozy experience! We had great service & ordered the Seared Salmon as well as Pesto Rapini & so delicious & fulfilling ❤? For dessert, I had the chocolate eclair & it was incredible 😊 Also took a stroll & checked out Le Richmond marketplace / shopping & there are some great items to watch out for ! Le Richmond never disappoints & I cannot recommend this 11/10 restaurant & venue enough for a get together with family & friends 🥰 MORE UPDATES: At the Richmond Bistro, had the Burrata as an appetizer & it was so delicious followed by Pasta Bolognese & the Meat Lasagna & each bite was heavenly ❤? As always great food & superb service 😊 MORE UPDATES: Went for dinner on a Friday evening & had the Salmon tartare followed by Ragatoni & beef Ravioli & each bite was a gourmet's delight ❤?❤? Full compliments to the chef for making food with so much love & care 🙏🙏 We ended with the blueberry tart & it was beyond delicious ❤?❤? As always fantastic food with fantastic service 😇😇
We had a reservation for 9pm, they made us wait for a good amount of time, then made us sit before changing us place & putting us to a table that wasn't even ready yet. The other tables had candles, ours didnt, we just received two glasses & the cutlery without any care like we saw the other tablea get. We had to wait 20 minutes just to receive the QR code for the menu & another 15 min to order our drinks & food. We came for the Valentine Menu which already doesn't have many options but was fine & we are told that there is only two choices of entrée now which reduces the options. Between the first service & receiving the second we had to wait an hour, we saw all other tables & even tables that came after us getting served, eat & leave & we still didnt reveived the second service before 10:40. The food was cold like it waited a long time on a counter but we never received it on time so it wasn't even that good. We took the desserts to go since we were already paying for them & didnt want to have wait more & when came the time to pay, they not only made us pay the Valentine Menu but even a plate we never asked nor received. After noticing the error & noticing them we had to wait another 15 minutes just to get our refund from the manager that didn't once apologize for the crazy waiting time of the whole thing or for the mistake on the bill. The only good point was that our waitress was kind & came to see us once to apologize for the wait we had to endure for the food but thats it. Not worth the money for the little amount of food & close to none service & respect we received. Will never return or recommand this place.

We recently had the pleasure of capturing photo & video for a wedding at Richmond Restaurant in Montreal, & everything was absolutely perfect. The venue is stunning , a beautiful mix of elegance & modern charm, with great lighting & atmosphere that made every shot look amazing.
The staff were incredibly professional & accommodating throughout the day, making our work seamless & enjoyable. From the setup to the service & the food, every detail was top-notch.
Highly recommended not only as a dining experience but also as a fantastic wedding venue!

La nourriture était extraordinaire &, que dire du service, des employés complètement dédiés à leurs invités, aux petits soins!. J'en garde un souvenir incroyable! I celebrated my fifth anniversary with my spouse last night, & it was truly magical. Melissa had taken care of arranging a beautiful bouquet for me because I wanted to surprise her. When we arrived, the ambiance was perfect, & the decor was stunning. The hostess invited us to enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne in the lounge before heading to our table. After relaxing & being impressed by the service, we were led to our table, which was the most romantic setup I've ever seen. It was absolutely perfect. We shared a rib steak, which was cooked to perfection (medium), & the cut was beautiful. We had an incredible meal & the most perfect time at The Richmond. Special thanks to our server, Jérémy, & to Melissa & Patrick for hosting. It's a perfect venue for all types of gatherings-whether it's with friends, couples, happy hour, or weddings. I highly recommend it!

Food was overpriced, went in for lunch & with noone in the restaurant food took forever (over 20min). A medium rare requested burger was cooked well done & there was no sauce or dip for the fries outside of prepackaged mayo - which I didn't have. Wouldn't recommend coming here for lunch as the value for money & time isn't worth the investment. It's unfortunate too, I was parched & really looking forward to this place for lunch after a long morning on a hot day, but left quite disappointed. Service was the main redeeming quality - my server was quite attentive & professional. Kitchen staff could improve quality & attention to detail. The dish overall was too dry & there wasnt thought given into how to balance the dish.
We had our wedding at Le Richmond & it was absolutely perfect. From the incredible food to the flawless coordination, everything exceeded our expectations. Patricia, Ertan, & the entire team were outstanding-professional, attentive, & truly dedicated to making our day unforgettable.
The service was exceptional, & every detail was handled with care. We're so grateful to the team for making our celebration so special. Whether you're planning a big event or just going out for a great dinner, Le Richmond is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

Great food & service. Food price is a bit steep. Overall would recommend; we were a large party (20 ppl or more) & everyone had a great time for our friends 40s bday.

Beautiful & charming setting. Love the terrasse, lush greenery with luxury chandeliers. Perfect that it has a retractable roof for rain or shine experience! Jazz & Soho nights are the best vibes! Food is spectacular, from pasta to steak. Pastries are artisanal! The staff will make your night! High recommend.
Tout adorés... Du cadre à l'ambiance, de la musique à la dynamique du staff. Tout était on point. Menu simple & abordable. Présentation & goût parfait. Gros merci aux gérants & un gros salut à Bassim, très professionnel & respectueux. Je recommande que sa soit pour une date ou une soirée entre amis autour d'un très bon vins.

& bien sûr, petit bémol, le pain au beurre a été oublié au début, on nous a oublié, & ça sentait bon des autres tables où tout le monde le mangeait avec entrain, on l'aurait certainement goûté, même si on a raté l'occasion de le faire, on ne l'a pas pénalisé le pourboire déposé.
Je recommande les pétoncles en entrée & le bar en plat principal.
Le cocktail Bourbon était bon & celui au champagne a un design original.
