Le Richmond propose une cuisine recherchée du nord de l’Italie avec influences piémontaises, vénitiennes et de l’Émilie-Romagne qui met l’accent sur la fraîcheur des aliments. Le menu est épuré et offre une cuisine de proximité, conçue à partir d’aliments régionaux et locaux. Tout en fraîcheur, le menu met en vedette des aliments de saison ainsi que des produits coup de cœur d’importation privée provenant de petits producteurs d’Italie.
Occupant un espace industriel qui date de la fin des années 1800, Le Richmond offre également une expérience d’ambiance, dans un décor qui allie les matériaux d’époque à d’autres, plus contemporains. Proposant 140 places assises et 70 places sur la terrasse, Le Richmond est incontestablement le plus grand restaurant de Griffintown.
Le Richmond est décrit comme un endroit beau et élégant, à la fois chic et chaleureux, idéal pour toutes les occasions et les événements, des dîners romantiques et anniversaires aux réunions d’affaires et mariages, avec une ambiance soignée et un service généralement attentif et professionnel. La cuisine est variée et bien exécutée, avec des plats tels que le carpaccio, la burrata, les raviolis au crabe, le rib steak et le risotto, et des desserts appréciés; toutefois certains plats peuvent etre secs ou sous-cuits et le rapport qualite-prix peut varier lors de services tres demandés. Dans l’ensemble, l’expérience est largement positive: cadre et ambiance mis en valeur, personnel souvent excellent, et les lieux sont recommandés pour des rencontres entre amis, en amoureux ou en famille et pour des mariages, tout en notant ponctuellement des lenteurs ou un coût percu plus élevé lors de certaines occasions.
My boyfriend & I went there for the Valentine's day menu last night. All i have to say after last night was never again going nor recommending this place. When we arrived to our 9pm reservation, they told us our table wasn't ready & sat us as a barstool table to wait. 2 mins later we are being told that they are sitting people here & have to wait standing. Then once we get to our table, everyone else's has flowers petals & candles, ours barely had any utensils. We waited 15 mins for a QR code just to see the menu & then another 15 just to order. We had already planned our meals, when they told us one of the appetizers was now unavailable. We then ordered our three courses right away & two drinks. We received our appetizers around 9:45 & we only received our main course at 10:40pm. We waited so long we weren't even hungry for our main course, our server had to ask the manager several times what was taking so long for our dishes. We saw people arrive at the same time & after us, eat all of their meals, dessert & leave before we got ours. Once we got our meals, my duck was very difficult to cut & chew. My boyfriend's raviolis were cold inside & out. At this point, i was exhausted & wanted to leave, so we asked for our desserts to go & paid. My cocktail was way too strong so i asked for a glass of coca cola on the side. Not only did they serve me a shot of room temperature coke, but they also charged us for that one sip of coke. When it was time to pay, they had charged us a 50$ plate that we did not order. If we had not noticed, they would've just let us leave paying more than what we had. Honestly the food was horrible, the service was horrendous & the restaurant was way too full for the amount of space they have to offer. The only good thing about the night was our server who kept checking in on our food & corrected the mistake the first server made on our bill. I will not be recommending this place to anyone & even telling my friends in the restaurant business to never make business with this place.
Nous avons collaboré avec le Richmond le temps d'une soirée, pour notre événement annuel de fin d'année pour notre entreprise. L'organisation en amont a été difficile, avec plusieurs communications & changements de dernière minute. Les équipements pour présenter (micro & projecteur) lors de notre soirée n'étaient également pas à la hauteur.
Quant à la soirée elle-même, le service a été impeccable avec un personnel attentionné, avec des plats & cocktails adéquats & savoureux dans l'ensemble. L'espace en soi était propre, lumineux, chaleureux & bien décoré.

I went for a wedding, the service & stafc were outstanding. Manager Alex was tip top, the bartender Timothee was the best. They were making delicious cocktails well executed & were alot of fun. Great selection of booze. The food was ok. My cod was delicious & not overcooked. My salad was a bit tired. Appetizers were on point & my friend steak was cooked to perfection but it was not finished on the grill . Beautiful room, huge washroom area that was gorgeous. Amazing place for weddings & events. Thank you staff for a hell of a night.
Stunning trendy space , great service & vibes , the food was delicious but the entrée portions are small for the value & the cocktails were just … okay

Had the most amazing experience with Jonathan for my mom's birthday. He made sure we had everything to make us feel special & Bassim was there to suggest the best wine & cocktails. Very qualified employees. New menu is also very flavoured & beautifully presented.

We ate at the Bistro & the food was good. We were a group of 18, the menu was a fixed menu, not family style. There was one change on the menu from what we had previously arranged but they accommodated our group to add it to the menu. Overall service was good there were a few disappointments. 1) the bartender did not have a cocktail list. Very surprised by this, over priced fun interesting drinks are part of most restaurants 2) Most of the group drank wine or beer anyway. I asked for an amaro after dinner & the waiter had never heard of the word. I used "digestif" & he understood but was not sure if they had it, they did. 2) the food was OK, not great, if felt like a banquet not a made to order dinner. One of our guests asked for their sirloin to be rare but they were all pre cooked to medium. The servings were not large but adequate. The food we ate was tasty but not unique. The waiter that looked after our table did the best that he could. He worked hard & did his best to satisfy our thirsty crowd. Would I go back? maybe I would try the restaurant with a small group but compared to other group dinners I have arranged, & I have arranged many, this one was just OK.

& bien sûr, petit bémol, le pain au beurre a été oublié au début, on nous a oublié, & ça sentait bon des autres tables où tout le monde le mangeait avec entrain, on l'aurait certainement goûté, même si on a raté l'occasion de le faire, on ne l'a pas pénalisé le pourboire déposé.
Je recommande les pétoncles en entrée & le bar en plat principal.
Le cocktail Bourbon était bon & celui au champagne a un design original.
