Had a party of 6 for early supper & totally enjoyed the vibe.
Italian food pasta, fish & meat
Will be going back
Restaurant was quiet, but romantic atmosphere, welcoming & warm. We were surprised as it was quite busy last time we came. Chef is from Rome & pasta is homemade. They have a huge wheel of Grana Padano for their pasta flambee, if you want something a bit showy for dinner (in our case, for a birthday celebration).
We ordered the antipasto plate to start, each took different plates for the meal, a few glasses of wine & 2 desserts to share.
Menu is well curated, & feels very authentic. The only downside was the selection of bread they offer at the beginning, some type of dry bun - we would've preffered ciabatta or foccacia, & served warm. Otherwise, we were really stuffed & enjoyed the meal & atmosphere!

After years of dining here, it's been 2 times in a row where it displeases me to say that I think they're done. Last time was low season so I chalked it up to a skeleton staff that needed a break post-holiday. Tonight, however, sealed the deal & this is the last time I'm dining there. For appetizers, we ordered the burrata, the charcuterie, & the oysters. The oysters were small & dry, the charcuterie was disappointing as it was filled with nuts & not much else.
For mains, we ordered a 42 oz steak, the ravioli, & a pasta. After waiting between 30-40 minutes for the mains, the meat & ravioli were cold & the pasta wasn't good. The waitress did offer a dessert or coffee but we just wanted to leave by that point. It's too bad, I really used to like this place but after 2 disappointing meals, I'm done.
A very nice restaurant with ambient lights & atmosphere. The staff is super kind & always asking you about your food experience. We started with the red wine & moved on to the main course. I had the Snow Crab Agnolotti & it was beyond delicious & one of a kind culinary experience. My partner had the Rack of Lamb & he loved the consistency of it for it was very well made. For dessert we had the chocolate mousse & it was beyond delicious & we loved the presentation! Just make reservations & it's a great restaurant for date night with a super hospitable staff. A 10/10 from me :) UPDATE: Went for Brunch at Le Richmond & the food was great ! We had eggs Benedict to omelette to Avocado French toast & we really loved the food. The brunch venue is super cozy & well-light with great service :) MORE UPDATES: Went for Bistro dinner at Le Richmond & it was an awesome cozy experience! We had great service & ordered the Seared Salmon as well as Pesto Rapini & so delicious & fulfilling ❤? For dessert, I had the chocolate eclair & it was incredible 😊 Also took a stroll & checked out Le Richmond marketplace / shopping & there are some great items to watch out for ! Le Richmond never disappoints & I cannot recommend this 11/10 restaurant & venue enough for a get together with family & friends 🥰 MORE UPDATES: At the Richmond Bistro, had the Burrata as an appetizer & it was so delicious followed by Pasta Bolognese & the Meat Lasagna & each bite was heavenly ❤? As always great food & superb service 😊 MORE UPDATES: Went for dinner on a Friday evening & had the Salmon tartare followed by Ragatoni & beef Ravioli & each bite was a gourmet's delight ❤?❤? I reserved Le Richmond one month in advance for my birthday dinner for 30 people, assuming a restaurant that hosts weddings could handle a group. It was a huge mistake.
The restaurant was almost empty, yet the service was terrible: missing menus, extremely slow service, & we ordered drinks at 8pm & received them after 9pm.
The food was awful. Most items on the already limited menu were out of stock (including the 42 oz steak to share & tuna tartare that everyone wanted). The replacement steak was chewy, pasta arrived cold, one dish tasted like straight garlic, & the drinks were bad (the espresso martini was basically coffee & vodka).
To make things worse, the manager (Jean-Christopher, bartender who claimed to be the manager that night) was rude & mocking when I calmly shared our disappointment, & offered no attempt to fix the situation.
A completely ruined birthday dinner. Do not book this place for groups or celebrations.
My experience at Le Richmont was somewhat disappointing, primarily because the value didn't seem to match the quality of service & culinary offerings. Appetizers: - Burrata: Adequate, but lacked any distinctive features to set it apart. - Oysters: Standard fare; nothing noteworthy. - Beef Tartare: Outstanding. It offered a perfect balance of texture & flavour with excellently chosen meat-a must-try. Main Dishes: - Flambées Pasta: This dish was a letdown. It's touted as a signature dish, yet the pasta reminded me of something you'd find in a supermarket packet. While it was cooked properly, it lacked originality, & the Grana Padano sauce was barely recognizable. - Black Cod: My companions enjoyed this dish, noting it was well-seasoned & perfectly cooked. - Filet Mignon: Exceptional. The quality of the meat & the seasoning were superb, accompanied by deliciously flavoured smashed potatoes & sautéed legumes. This dish justified its price with its remarkable preparation. Desserts: There was a notable service issue as the restaurant had only one serving left for Dark Praline Mousse & informed us only after we had ordered it. This lapse is unexpected from a high-end venue, & unfortunately, the staff did not proactively offer a solution. Following some discussion, we were offered Tiramisu as a replacement. - Dark Praline Mousse: It was the highlight of the desserts, featuring a sublime balance & exquisitely prepared brûlée banana. - Tiramisu: Unfortunately, it felt pretty artificial & didn't meet expectations. - Ginger Panna Cotta: This was mediocre for my taste, seeming overly thickened with cornstarch. Ambience: The restaurant presents an inviting, cozy atmosphere with charming wooden decor. The general level of service was satisfactory. Overall, while there were high points in the culinary experience, particularly the beef tartare & filet mignon, the overall offering at Le Richmont didn't quite live up to expectations, especially considering the high standards one anticipates from such an establishment.
Beautiful & charming setting. Love the terrasse, lush greenery with luxury chandeliers. Perfect that it has a retractable roof for rain or shine experience! Jazz & Soho nights are the best vibes! Food is spectacular, from pasta to steak. Pastries are artisanal! The staff will make your night! High recommend.
You feel that you are at the right place when you step into this stylish dining area with an artists bar. The smell is great, the staff is wonderful. For some reason the menu sections were in Italian, while the menu itself was in French & "Quebec English". But we got the idea - they needed to somehow show that this was an Italian restaurant. But there was some confusion here, since the menu has two different sections for cold & hot dishes - if we understand the meaning of the word Crudo & Platti Principalli correctly. So we ordered hot dishes - pasta with seafood, black cod & tuna. The first two dishes were ok, but the tuna came seared & almost raw. It was nice, but a bit unexpected. Overall, for a quite expensive place there are too many complications & too modest portions.
Great quality of food along with service. Salat, pasta, wine , what else you need 🙂 Recommended!!
Came tonight with our group for Christmas party. We have been mentioned, that VALET service is included in our email, however be mindful when use valet services there was a white tall guy he told me no its 10$ for the service, after bringing our car. I could feel he was lying he looked on the floor couldn't look at me in the eyes. Overall, inside the waiters & barman lovely service. We just had a salty experience towards the end. For the food (buffet we had Lamb, beef, pesto pasta & salad) food was fine. Dessert was cannoli & cheesecake + creme brule. Everything was good.
