What a cozy, quaint place. We went here on a cold & rainy evening in November. We warmed up in the cozy atmosphere with delicious food. The service was perfect, the staff is amazing & sweet. The chef nailed it. We will be back. Great date night spot!
Absolutely outstanding dining experience from start to finish! The oysters were fresh, briny, & perfectly presented - a true highlight to start the evening.
The braised short rib was melt-in-your-mouth tender & rich in flavor. & the gnocchi equally as outstanding - soft, pillowy perfection, coated in a sauce that I'm still thinking about days later.
The service was incredible, & the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between cozy & upscale. Every dish felt thoughtful & executed with care. Easily one of the best meals I've had in a long time - can't wait to return!

We had the cauliflower, carrots, burrata & scallops. All were delicious. We had a couple of spicy margaritas (3) which were delicious. The service was very friendly & the atmosphere very cozy. Bill came to $77 pp plus 18% tip $93. Well worth it.
This is to date the best restaurant experience I have ever had. The service was great, the food amazing & all this is a cozy local little village. Their wine & beverage list is well-rounded & their signature cocktails good. The menu has options for anyone & the portions are just right. Lastly dessert was beyond description. I certainly hope to go back there again, soon.
I'm a long-time foodie & lover of all things gastronomic, which I have no qualms about clearly laying the blame at the feet of my sadly departed gourmet Italian mom, who created magic in her kitchen & taught me the ways of eating well (by the time I was 8, I thought my name was'Taste This'). As a resident of Plateau Mont Royal, I am dangerously surrounded by fantastic restaurants (coucou, L'Express! Bonjour Café Cherrier & Miracolo!), but after hearing nothing but rave reviews about Le Bienheureux from a number of my close chef friends, I knew it was finally time to head west yesterday & be one with your wonderful bistro. From the moment we stepped into your cozy restaurant, to the last sip of wine, we were lavished by good cheer, a cool vibe &, most importantly, an outstanding & creative menu. Your huitres à la Bienheureux left me speechless. My taste buds shall never happily recover. Oh, & your perfectly prepared steak d'onglet, presented succulently with your superb sauce à la crème Bleu Élizabeth... Can perfection actually happen in a plate, I ask? Yes, it can, & it did last night. Your talented staff made the evening even more perfect, switching from English to French to English to French, with impeccable style & wit. A big thank you to all of you at Le Bienheureux. Back in 2008-2009, when I worked a one-year contract with Macdonald College, I was often seen wandering aimlessly along Ste. Anne Street, searching for a bistro to embrace, other than, of course, the beautiful Surcouf. The times, they have changed, & to know that Le Bienheureux is now a fixture on Ste. Anne's main drag is a welcome relief. See you very soon, once again.

Sitting at the bar is so cozy! The drinks were amazing! The baked Oysters were stunners! & the ambiance is so fun!!🤩 10/10 recommend!

We chose this restaurant due to rave reviews from many of our foodie friends. Wow were they right! The food was delicious, the atmosphere cozy, fun & welcoming. The staff were incredible & knowledgeable. We can't wait to go back. I haven't stopped talking to friends & family recommending this place since we went! An absolute must try!
A hidden gem in Sainte-Anne's! Delicious food, amazing service & cozy atmosphere. They have more tables now after their renovations & a big terrace in the summer that's dog friendly 🥹
Amazing food in a super cozy environment. The place is very small & you should get a reservation between 6-8pm, but totally worth it. The low space makes it intimate & you get flawless service on top of the amazing food. The tartare is amazing, the oysters are fresh, & the main course are not just delicious but healthy portions too!
Great experience. it's a lovely quaint , cozy & warm restaurant with some of the most flavorful food. Not one dish outdid eachother, everything was just so good & the cocktails were just as pleasant. I can't believe only two people were manning the stations. One in the kitchen & one behind the bar & NOTHING was lackluster.I already can't wait to try it out again.
Very cozy given size which is exactly what we wanted. We were celebrating my sons birthday & mine with my husband & the owner Mario where we were sitting at the bar where we sat was extremely attentive & pleasant. Food was exquisite from the Burrata & Fish cake appetizers to the Osso Bucco & other main courses. Even a sparkler in the Nutella yummy hazelnut cake for both of us. We will certainly come again after they expand this fall. Thank you Mario & your team for turning moments into memories.
