The food was extremely tasty. The Service & our waitress very very good. The atmosphere was very nice with the music playing Nextdoor. My only complaints The following, I had the pasta lemonade with shrimps, though I enjoyed it very much. I was still hungry. It could've been a larger portion.
Upon seeing other people's plates, these are not the biggest portions I've seen in restaurants. Sadly, our waitress did tell us that it was a good size portion, but I'm not so sure as an extra big spoonful of pasta that would've been better.
We had dinner yesterday evening. It was our first time there. Our waitress was very polite & service was very good. The watermelon salad & salmon tartare were excellent. We ordered the hangar steak which was very good. Also ordered tuna tataki. This dish was overpriced for what we received. Thinly sliced tuna (8 slices) with a whole plate of tomatoes. Very disappointed. The pavlova was equally disappointing. But above all, we were seated at the table for two with the view of an open toilet & toilet bowl evening. This is highly unappealing & something should be done to that barn door that it automatically closes when someone leaves as other patrons do not have the decency to close the door. The door remains open & the scent of the washroom lingers. This meal was $240 in the end & was not the experience I was expecting for this type of money.
Amazing gem of a restaurant in Ste Annes. Small menu that is a bit tricky if you are vegetarian. Great service!
What a lovely evening! Great terrace, great food, great service - thank you! 😊
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
It's been a few years since I last stepped into Le Bienheureux due to living abroad, but it was always an old favorite of mine. Returning recently, I was thrilled to find that while the restaurant has expanded, it hasn't lost an ounce of its soul. The laid-back, easygoing vibe is exactly as I remembered, & the food is somehow even better. Mario, one of the owners, was in absolute fine form & amazingly still recognized me from years past.
We were a party of six celebrating a birthday, including one friend who is a serious fine-food fanatic & understandably picky about where he dines. He grilled me beforehand about what to expect, & I told him to just trust me. Le Bienheureux did not disappoint-even his high standards were totally met, & he thoroughly enjoyed the night.
The scenery out on the riverside terrace was beautiful, but the real star of the evening was our service & the kitchen. Shout out to the chef for some truly outstanding plates. The tuna tataki, salmon tartare, ribeye, pork belly, & burrata were all absolute perfection. In fact, we just surrendered & allowed our waitress, Dominique, to choose all of our courses for us. It was the easiest & most satisfying way to go.
Dominique was pleasant, witty, & interacted beautifully with the whole table, matching our banter effortlessly. They say the restaurant's name translates to'The Blessed.' I won't go quite that far, but we were certainly blessed with great company, spectacular food, & a fantastic evening.
My only real complaint? Dominique's course recommendations were *so* good that I'm now convinced she was just trying to show up the rest of the staff. Truly terrible behavior. 10/10, we will absolutely be back.
An absolute gem! Every single item is amazing, including the desserts. We've been a bunch of times since our first visit & what I love most is every time we go the menu is slightly different, dishes are unique, & always on point
The staff were great, very accommodating when our party changed from two persons to three. The restaurant was very busy & they were short staffed.
Nourriture excellente, très bon service , par contre l'eau de table pas froide à regarder pour le service client.
Quite possibly the best restaurant in Ste Anne's. If you haven't been you definitely should plan to.
Service was great.
Food was very well cooked, although they were small portions a little salty.
Huge variety of wines.
Ambiance was a little too loud. We sat in the main room.
