Dans l'ensemble, Au Bout de l'Île ressort comme un endroit chaleureux et accueillant, avec un personnel sympathique et une ambiance cosy qui donne envie de revenir. Les avis saluent une cuisine savoureuse et un bon rapport qualité prix, du petit déjeuner au déjeuner, avec des desserts, des glaces et des sandwiches bien appréciés et une atmosphère propice à une pause agréable près du canal. Le service est en général attentif, mais lors des périodes très fréquentées le rythme peut être plus lent et certaines critiques évoquent des soucis dans les installations, notamment les toilettes et la circulation d'air, ainsi que le manque d'ombre sur la terrasse. Malgré ces points, l'etablissement est perçu comme une adresse locale fiable et chaleureuse, offrant des prix raisonnables et une constance des plats, notamment les oeufs Benedict et les options de petit déjeuner et de dessert qui plaisent.
I recently moved to Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue & came across this charming spot while walking through the village. The atmosphere immediately felt warm & welcoming.
I first visited on my own, & it was the perfect place to relax, enjoy a good meal, & take in the vibe of the area. The staff were incredibly friendly, which made the experience even better.
I later brought my boyfriend with me, & we both really enjoyed it. It's such a great little place, & I'll definitely be coming back!
Accueil toujours excellent, tout est tres bon à chaque fois, ambiance vraiment agréable, très propre, jamais déçu! Nous recommandons cette place, les propriétaires sont très sympathique.

Had lunch, food was delicious & great service, cute space to eat. I got the tuna melt & the Russian Tsar sandwich & they were exceptional. 10/10 would recommend
Great service & welcoming staff. The ambiance is warm. The food is great & the decoration is so cute. Definitely worth visiting. I had a nice experience the two times I visited!
My favourite spot for ice-cream in the neighbourhood! & occasional breakfast. The staff is very friendly. We love to enjoy a leisurely morning here on occasion as part of a stroll through the city & the canal. A sweet local spot with authentic atmosphere.

Un immense coup de coeur pour Au Bout de l'Île. Le service est exceptionnel & la bonté du propriétaire, Oscar, m'a profondément touchée. Il est tellement aimable & attentionné. On se sent accueilli comme chez soi. Merci Oscar pour cette belle expérience. Je recommande ce restaurant à 100 % !
Went on a very busy weekend. Didn't get coffee for 45 minutes & hour & a half for food, small portions & nothing to talk about. Wasn't servers fault, management just don't care!

I can only judge based on their breakfast but this place seems like it's not quite sure what it wants to be. Breakfast eggs were fine, but it was downhill from there. Sausage was not a breakfast sausage. There was an attempt at serving potatoes as grits but they seem to have had been bathed in instant onion soup beforehand. Value was good though for the price paid, as was the service.
Café-Bistro is not bad all in all. The main problem seems to be a lack of attention regarding the only restroom, which is definitely not enough (toilet doesn't work properly ir not at all, hand tissue - if there is - is put on soaky counter instead of replaced in its unit. We used to come more often & stopped going for a while, thinking they'd improved the facilities & removed their old & super stained carpet. Unfortunately, they didn't, & it became worse. One other comment we made to them years ago concerns the lack of air circulation. The only fan is in their larger dining room & hardly supplies enough air. It is very unpleasant to stay inside during the summer. The terrasse is nice; but again, there are not enough umbrellas! Let's hope they'll try their best & go ahead with those little, but important though not so much expensive improvements 😉
After a long cycling, I wanted to have a latte in this small cute city. The Google maps recommended me this place & I give it a try. The place looks cozy & unique with the old style house. There are do many of ice cream & gelato selection inside. There's also a breakfast & lunch selection for those that want to have a meal in the morning & afternoon. The Latte taste good, although a little bit watery, but their ice cream was good (forgot to take a picture). The outside balcony is also nice for those that ride a bike to here & alone, & also want to keep an eye for your bike for those that don't bring any bike locks.
