I rarely stand in line for a restaurant but since we are on vacation I happily joined the crowd. The big surprise was that this decadent brunch spot was worth the wait. I wouldn't & couldn't eat here often & still fit into my clothes but we all thoroughly enjoyed every bit of our brunch. The service was initially slow in this busy restaurant but once our order was taken the service was attentive & upbeat. The vibe of the place is great with cool design features & great attention to the music. I'd recommend the blueberry pancakes with cream & lemon drizzle & the hazelnut latte.. but leave time for a post brunch nap!
This place is the perfect brunch spot. The'Indecisive' platters help you have a taste of everything, & we thought it was all good. The pistachio cream french toast is incredible, as are their pancakes.
Brunch at L'Avenue Notre-Dame was a delight, beautifully plated dishes, vibrant atmosphere, & exceptional service. Special thanks to Fran, whose warm & attentive energy truly elevated the experience. A must-visit in Montreal.
En plus de 3 ans sur Montréal & des dizaine de place de brunch, j'ai enfin trouvé le meilleur. Tout est frais, les oeuf bio sont une tuerie.le cadre est super, le service impeccable, je redécouvre le goût de sortir pour aller au restaurant & en avoir pour son argent.
Depuis bientôt six ans, ce café sait comment me servir & s'adapter à ma personne & handicap. Des personnes comme Jess, super serveuse, est allé plus loin en trouvant des solutions pour que je sois à l'aise malgré ma situation. Allez-y & prenez le temps de bien bruncher sur de la musique & des gens chaleureux. Mention aussi à David & Mathieu !!!zulma & kamilo sont aussi à tenir compte. Si vous avez un handicap quelconque, venez manger en toute inclusion & plaisir.
Visited on a Monday afternoon, so there were still some open seats when we arrived. We ordered the waiter's recommendations: the Truffle Duck Benedict & the Dubai Chocolate French Toast. Both dishes were quite good. The duck was flavorful & the potato side was especially delicious-highly recommend it! The pistachio butter in the French toast wasn't very strong, which was a bit disappointed. As for the mocha, the dark chocolate flavor was too strong covered the taste of coffee, a bit more like hot chocolate without overly sweet.
Overall, the service was friendly & attentive, & the staff were nice. The restaurant environment was also pleasant. A good spot for brunch.

La Venue is truly a gem in Montreal! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm & inviting. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish prepared to perfection.
A special shoutout to Roy, whose Lebanese hospitality made the experience even more special. He went above & beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, always providing the best with a smile. His kindness & attention to detail truly stood out!
If you're looking for a top-notch brunch spot with amazing service, La Venue is the place to go. Highly recommended!
Loved the food at L'Avenue! Went as a party of two around 11 AM & we didn't have to wait very long at all, though we saw larger parties having to wait for a while. Got the Indecisive Sticky Toffee Pudding Pancakes & a latte & both were delicious (the breakfast potatoes & the scrambled eggs were especially good). Highly recommend for a good brunch!
I visited L'avenue in Montreal with my cousin, & we had a great time! I went for the Los Cabo's Chicken Waffle, & it was absolutely delicious. The dish features a corn waffle topped with crispy fried chicken, shallots, cheddar cheese, guacamole, sriracha sauce, & maple syrup. The combination of flavors was spot on-savory, spicy, & sweet, all in one bite.
The corn waffle was light & crispy, the chicken was perfectly juicy, & the shallots & cheddar added a nice savory punch. The guacamole balanced the heat from the sriracha, & the maple syrup brought everything together with a touch of sweetness. It was filling but not too heavy, & every bite was a little bit different, which kept it interesting.
My cousin, on the other hand, had the Indecisive Meal, which was a fun concept-basically a bit of everything classic breakfast food. He enjoyed it.
The vibe at Lavenue was cozy, & the service was friendly, making it the perfect spot for a casual brunch. The prices are on the higher side for brunch, but the quality & creativity make it worth it. If you're in Montreal & want something unique, definitely try the Los Cabo's Chicken Waffle!

By far, the best brunch in Montreal. L'Avenue is the Ferrari of the brunch spots in town in terms of quality & fresh ingredients as well as the high quality service by their polite staff.

Visite pour le brunch, premièrement, tout l'avant du local est frigorifié compte tenu de l'ouverture constante des portes, c'est vraiment désagréable de devoir manger avec son manteau. Côté bouffe, ok sans plus, bénédictines gluants manquant de cuisson malheureusement. Café latté ok mais le café filtre ouf imbuvable. Le service vraiment impeccable toutefois, serveur attentionné, sympathique & avenant.
I think the place is generally good. The food options vary & the price is typical for the food quality & portion sizes. It's not a steal it's not exceptionally large portions but its well done food with many customizable options to allow you to have a brunch that may suit your needs. The price is decent, not cheap, not insanely overpriced. We had great service fast & timely manner, also polite. Generally good experience.
