From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, attentive, & impeccably professional, creating an atmosphere that felt both welcoming & refined. Service was seamless-prompt without ever feeling rushed, & thoughtful without being intrusive. From the very first sip to the final bite, every element reflected thoughtful craftsmanship & impeccable quality.
We began with the detox drinks, which were remarkably invigorating-crisp, well-balanced, & wonderfully refreshing. They cleansed the palate while setting a vibrant tone for the meal ahead.
The Bobby Discovers Istanbul was a true standout. The poached eggs were executed with remarkable precision, boasting a luxuriously delicate texture & flawless consistency. Each bite was rich, aromatic, & layered with depth, easily ranking among the finest poached egg dishes I've encountered. The chicken patties complemented the dish beautifully-succulent, expertly seasoned, & cooked to tender perfection, offering both comfort & sophistication.
To conclude, the Strawberry Nocciolata pancakes were nothing short of indulgent. Impossibly light, airy, & exquisitely spongy, they melted effortlessly with every forkful. The harmonious blend of fresh strawberries & nocciolata created a decadent yet balanced sweetness that elevated the dish to an unforgettable finale.

We went to L'Avenue & tried four dishes. Most of the food was really good, but the overall experience wasn't great. We waited in line for over an hour, & even after getting a table, it took more than 45 minutes for the food to arrive. Service was super slow, maybe because it was just a busy day, but it definitely made the visit frustrating.
The Steak & Eggs were easily the best thing on the table. The eggs were perfectly runny, the ribeye was tender, & the hollandaise sauce was rich & flavorful. Bobby Does Dallas was also very good. The eggs were fluffy, the beef was juicy, & the sweet caramelized onions really stood out.
We also had the Red Shakshuka. The flavor was nice, & the labneh & feta added a creamy touch. It came with naan bread at first, which didn't really go well with the dish, but we got it with baguette instead & that worked much better. Honestly, pita would've been the perfect match.
The Strawberry Nocciolata looked amazing & had lots of toppings, but the taste was just okay. Not bad, but definitely not something I'd rush to order again.
Overall, the food was mostly great but the service & wait time were rough. If you go, make sure you're not in a hurry.
Excellent experience...highly recommended! The food tasted magnificent. I tried the truffle duck & the strawberry nocciolata, both delicious. The size of the dishes...needless to say, they're perfect for sharing! Congratulations Eric!!!
Brunch at L'Avenue Notre-Dame was a delight, beautifully plated dishes, vibrant atmosphere, & exceptional service. Special thanks to Fran, whose warm & attentive energy truly elevated the experience. A must-visit in Montreal.
Visited on a Monday afternoon, so there were still some open seats when we arrived. We ordered the waiter's recommendations: the Truffle Duck Benedict & the Dubai Chocolate French Toast. Both dishes were quite good. The duck was flavorful & the potato side was especially delicious-highly recommend it! The pistachio butter in the French toast wasn't very strong, which was a bit disappointed. As for the mocha, the dark chocolate flavor was too strong covered the taste of coffee, a bit more like hot chocolate without overly sweet.
Overall, the service was friendly & attentive, & the staff were nice. The restaurant environment was also pleasant. A good spot for brunch.

Food : Very well presented dishes , every dish we tried was very tasty too. There are salty & sweet dishes. Beverage : Freshly squeezed orange juice was so good 🍊 The espresso was good, the latte was good too. There is a huge variety of smoothies. Ambience : fun & chic style good for a group of friends but yet family friendly. Staff : Always friendly & very accommodating Pros : 1. If you go for a rush lunch time there often waiting line, it worth waiting though. 2. Tips started at 18% which is a bummer! We wish to give 18% by ourselves instead of semi suggestions / forcing. Besides that all lovely. We love going there
1 word: A vibe. We were lucky, & our wait was about 15 minutes for four people. The restoration decor is fun & trendy. Their bathrooms are great selfie spots!! But the food is to die for. We got the duck confit eggs bendedict, the red shaksuka & the huevos rancheros. The first two dishes are worth the hype & made me do little Dances as we ate. The huevos rancheros were a bit disappointing (sorry) but as a Mexican I have to give a critique. They lacked any rich flavours that didn't make the dish stand out.
Tl;Dr - Upgrade your Benedict to a French toast base instead of English muffin for only $5, thank me later Just going to start off with, everything we ordered tasted amazing. Came here back in November 2023. We literally took 15 minutes going through the menu because it was so hard to decide what to order, everything looked amazing & sounded amazing. We decided on trying the avocado hummus with braised lamb & pomegranate seeds, a mushroom Benedict, & some pancakes. The hardest thing to decide was which 3 dishes to get, because we are not from Montreal & won't be coming back often. So we wanted to try as much as possible. Luckily, they have an option to switch out the English muffin & upgrade it to French toast for only $5. & yes, I definitely recommend ALWAYS doing that. I don't even like hummus, that dish was supposed to be primarily hers. But she just kept eating the French toast mushroom Benedict, & I ended up having most of the hummus, which was really good, especially for someone who doesn't like hummus. We also love how their potatoes aren't fried. Like 100% of all brunch places in Toronto does fried potatoes, & pretty poorly at that. It was so refreshing to have something different. Every time we go back to Montreal, or even pass by Montreal, this will definitely be a stop we will be making.

Fantastic food & wonderful service! We had an amazing dining experience here. The dishes were delicious & beautifully presented. Our server, Jessica, was incredibly nice & attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place for a great meal & excellent service!
