I'm writing about the Bollywood buffet at the back of the building offered weekdays from 11-3, & 4-9 I believe in the summer.
It's a great way to sample a variety of Indian dishes! The fresh-to-order naan & tandoori chicken are a highlight, & the café bar is a nice touch. It's all-you-can-eat (or order), & the staff are very friendly-shoutout to Se-hee for the great service.
The downside is that the buffet items aren't piping hot, & since it caters to the nearby finance crowd, the flavors are a bit toned down-less spice & punch than you might expect from Indian cuisine. Pricing is typical for the area, but with the all-you-can-eat format, you can definitely get your money's worth.
Overall, a solid lunch spot if you're in the area.
This place has one of the most beautiful terraces in the old-port. The food is Indian & french fusion so you will find great dishes like steak 🥩, oysters 🦪 when in season as well as tons of indian inspired sauces & spices. It's spicy but manageable. They also have a great cocktail list 🍹 & wine 🍷 list. By the way don't skip on dessert, that chocolate 🍫 soufley was amazing.

I love the refined, French inspired Indian cuisine here! I can tell the chef gave a lot of thought into each dish, from the sauce to the freshness of meat & the side, are well thought of. The seared foie gras was excellent. We also had black cod, butter chicken, & pistachio-crusted baked lamb chops. & for dessert I had chocolate mousse spiced with cardamom. They were all great. This French inspired Indian cuisine is unique to Montreal, I've never had anything like this in other big cities.
The balanced taste & spice level is perfect for the family of all ages.
We visited the restaurent with two other friends the other day to celebrate a friend birthday. We were interested to try an Indian resto & this one had an interesting menu with a modern decor, although we were not sure about the Indian french fusion concept. We ordered 3 plates as appetizers (paneer, octupus, fried vegetable) & 3 for main course ( biryani chicken & lamb, & duck) & every plate was delicious. So the duck breast was cooked like a Magret but with Indian spices. The biryani cooked inside a bread was so amazing, so was the paneer. Plus the staff was very attentive (maybe too attentive sometimes 😁) & added candle to our birthday boy dessert, with free liquor drinks, a very nice touch. We will certainly be going back. The Terasse also looks very cool, it was march so closed in the winter.
Came here for mtl à table. Really enjoyed the Indian influence to all of the dishes without it being too overpowering. The subtlety of the spices really just elevated the traditional French dishes. Favorites were the duck & the foie gras toast which are also on their regular menu. Great portions as well considering it was a 3 course tasting menu. Excited to come back!
We had this dining experience at Heritaj. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, & the service was attentive without being rushed.
Every dish was beautifully presented & bursting with authentic flavors - you can really taste the quality & care in the cooking.
My hubby had a butter chicken, of course not the flavour he expected as in an Indian restaurant 😂
I ordered a fillet mignon since the duck was not available ( the duck was busy in Disney Land lol)
Filet mignon medium rare was cooked to the perfect level. However no seasoning at all. But there is a flavourful peppercorn sauce on the side.
We are there celebrate our wedding anniversary. I thought there will be something a bit special. But not really. No surprise dessert nor special decor.
If you want to have this indo French experience, it is a nice restaurant to try :)

Didn't realize it was Indian French fusion (google & open table says French only). Was pleasantly surprised by how good the food & drinks were! Cocktails were particularly good. Food also quite fantastic, including foie gras & duck magret (cooked very, very well). Only negative was service. Perhaps it was just the waiter we had (another waitress was much better), but that one waiter left a sour taste on an otherwise great experience.
I was excited to try this new restaurant, hoping for a unique blend of French & Indian cuisine, but sadly, it fell short of my expectations. As someone with a deep love for Indian flavors & with a partner from Punjab, we were both left underwhelmed. The concept of French-Indian fusion is intriguing, but the execution felt lacking. The dishes, while well-presented, didn't deliver the bold & rich spices that Indian cuisine is known for. There was a noticeable absence of depth in the curries & sauces, which left me wanting more flavor. Unfortunately, there was also no dessert with Indian inspiration-something I would have expected to round off the meal & balance the fusion concept. The round tables made for 4 are way too small; design can feel great but practically it just doesn't work. The drinks, which we hoped would creatively mirror the fusion of cultures, felt disconnected from the theme. They didn't elevate the experience as we anticipated, falling short of complementing the meal or embracing the French-Indian blend. I wanted to give this restaurant 5 stars for its concept, ambiance, & effort, but the flavors just didn't meet the mark for us.
