The food is absolutely amazing. The Jokbal is some of the best pork I've ever ate. The soups are also delicious, perfect for a quick lunch.
Black bean sauce is clearly from a bag. Not made fresh. $6 for 2 frozen Mandu is crazy !
& the wok fried veggies is 90% onion. Please do bette
It was delicious, the flavor was rich & vibrant, I was delighted. One of the best Korean cafes in Montreal I've been to.
Best jajangmyeon. Was craving for one after returning from Korea & this place completely satisfied my craving. Tangsuyuk was really good too. Will come back again for their combo jajangmyeon & tangsuyuk
Jajjangmyung is the best one yet that I've tasted in Montreal. Will come back!
Honestly one of the best korean restaurants in Montreal, their black bean noodles combos are great value with the tangsooyuk, they also have a wide variety of alchoholic beverages, including chestnut flavored makgeolli. Highly recommend this restaurant
We shared Set 3 & really enjoyed it! The highlight for me was definitely the Biscoff Bingsoo - hands down the best Bingsoo I've had so far. So good!
Lovely Korean restaurant with very quick service (even near closing time). They play music videos on one of the walls, creating a very comfortable atmosphere. We ordered set 3 which is plenty for 2 people (a nice variety of their top dishes)! We were disappointed by their beef fried rice (a bit too moist to our liking). Would definitely come back to try their bingsu which they didn't have that night.
What an a crappie staff unprofessional people at all never go there again
Easily one of my favorite restaurants! You won't find a better jjajangmyeon in town, the sauce & the noodles are done perfectly. Love the tangsu pork too, it's always freshly made, love the crisp & the texture. The taste is always consistent. Whenever I crave jjajangmyeon, this is the only place I go!
vrm bonne tangsu cochon bien croustillant & sucré, avec un jajangmyeon
recommended by a friend. was very good. took the combo #1. was very tasty.
I ordered the vegetable japchae, & I DO NOT recommend it. My plate was 80% onions, 10% other vegetables, & 10% actual noodles. After I finished the noodles I ordered a bowl of rice so that I had something to eat the onions with. It tastes fine, but paying $20 for what was essentially a massive plate of onions was NOT WORTH IT. If this is what the vegetable japchae is like, I don't want to know what the other dishes are like. Onions are the cheapest vegetable you can get at the grocery store & I can't believe I paid $20 for cheap onions. Will not be coming back & will be advising my friends against this place.
We really enjoyed our experience at Restaurant Bok. Service was super welcoming & quick. The food was delish (we particularly enjoyed the noodles in the jajangmyun & jampong). Would highly recommend! :D
